I have had clam chowder there many times, drove 35 miles from Sanford to get the chowder today. It has always been very good; today it was horrible. It was loaded, no way overloaded, with bacon. Bad bacon, like some smoky, applewood, weirdo bacon of some sort. Whoever made this batch should be spanked! lol. I know you don't get it perfect every time, but this was just poor management of a dish. Pay attention in the kitchen!!

Just had another incredible dinner at the Drum & Quill. I got the fish and chips and had a side of their seasonal veggies, which tonight was roasted broccolini. My husband got the Guinness beef stew and a tasty salad. All of it was absolutely delicious and served quite quickly. Highly recommend!

Husband and I went to dinner here tonight while we were in town and will definitely be back! The atmosphere itself is great and so cozy. Snickerdoodle cocktail was amazing, food was fantastic and service was as well! Our server Victoria was great - really appreciate that she made sure we had everything we needed, gave us great suggestions and also never rushed us!
