Made Valentines Day reservations weeks in advance. We arrived about 2-3 minutes early for the reservation. When we got there and gave the staff our name, they looked confused, and didn’t give us any information, so we stood at the door for 15-20 minutes with two other couples. When we finally are escorted to our table, we are taken out of the main restaurant and into the cabinet store that is connected. The room was clearly thrown together last minute and was not a nice atmosphere. It felt like a quick money grab and anyone in there was an afterthought. Service also took forever in that room. The main dishes were okay, though they seemed to be a bit over priced for what was served. Some of the sides, like the truffle mac, wasn’t even seasoned. Worst experience in a fine(r) dining establishment in quite some time. Actually apologized to my wife in the car on the way home. It’s overpriced, under portioned, and just feels like whatever magic it may have once had is now just a way of making people pay a ton for an extremely lackluster experience.
We will never be back.

Beautiful space and food presentation, although some of the flavors incorporated in the dishes did not mesh well together. The service was descent, yet it was overpriced. At the end of our mill, their was a roach crawling on the well next to me. I won't be back due to that and the prices.
It was a good experience the food is always delicious and we really liked Matt our waiter ... He did a fabulous job job;)
Rachel was a fantastic server. She was very attentive, very thorough in her descriptions of our options, and very knowledgeable about the wine selections. Our group of 9 was very pleased with all of our food choices. The elk was a big hit for several of us as well as the cedar plank salmon & schnitzel. This is a go to restaurant when entertaining customers from out of town. Great experience as always!
We really enjoyed our food and the service! North Carolina based meats, vegetable and fruits used. Delicious!

This is such a wonderful restaurant! Great food! There's not one dish that we didn't like from their menu over the years. Great service from all of the servers we've had and the manager Karen makes round to ensure everyone is happy.
Celebrated our anniversary at Elliott's on Linden last Friday evening and couldn't have been more pleased! Our server was awesome, the food was perfectly prepared & presented, we even got a brief history of the apple butter served with those little biscuits! We shall return!
Exceptional experience on every level!! Our server, Noah, was outstanding. The Assistant Manager was attentive, friendly, & took time to check on us & converse. The food was delicious & absolutely perfect. My Wife's Birthday was acknowledged multiple times & she felt celebrated & taken care of. We will recommend this establishment to all friends, family, & clients and can't wait to return, ourselves. I can't say thank you enough!!
Everything was outstanding .The food was incredible as was the service. Eric who has been added to the kitchen cooked up a remarkable dinner for us. The salmon melted in my mouth. The tuna tartar was beautifully presented and delectable. The service was execllent!!

We celebrated a birthday dinner here. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable, the food was very good with a decent selection. It is an A La Carte menu which in my opinion pushes their overall pricing higher than other fine dining establishments in the area. This is a restaurant we classify as a special occasion destination, not a place we would eat at regular due to its smaller eclectic menu.
While spending the winter in Pinehurst this year, my wife and I have had a chance to sample many restaurants. Elliot's is by far my wife's favorite. Every meal we've had has been fantastic in all aspects, not by accident. Looking forward to next visit.
Great food great atmosphere, very memorable and a definite favorite

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE My wife and I recently moved to the area and have been enjoying trying new restaurants. My wife is a physician, and for Christmas she received a gift card to Elliots from her boss, who highly recommended it. Around the same time, our daughter was visiting from Italy, so we thought this would be a perfect opportunity to enjoy a special family lunch together. Unfortunately, what we expected to be a memorable experience turned into the most disappointing and unpleasant restaurant experience we have ever had. When we arrived, the restaurant was completely empty, which we assumed was because it was lunchtime. As we walked in, we spoke to the chef and asked whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. From the very beginning, the chef did not seem interested in welcoming us at all and simply told us to sit anywhere. We then sat at our table for nearly 30 minutes. During that time, an employee walked by several times but never acknowledged us—not even to say “someone will be with you shortly.” We initially thought they might be preparing to help us, but no one ever came. It felt as though we were invisible. Feeling extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome, we eventually decided to leave quietly. As we walked out, the chef saw us leaving and showed no concern or interest whatsoever. We are still unsure whether we were ignored because we were the only family there or for some other reason, but at no point did we feel welcome. It was an upsetting and unacceptable experience. We will never return, and we would strongly advise others to think twice before dining here, as no customer should ever feel ignored, unwelcome, or disrespected in a restaurant.
