I went there with my wife and another couple. My wife and I are in our 70's and I spent a whole life in New Orleans and Texas as a Chef. Ironwood has a extensive wine selection at all price points. We started with Smokey Harvest a Mezcal infused with haberno, Cointreau and carrot juice (I hate carrots but this was great)! then the appetizers which were the southern spring roll's that were a totally pleasant surprise of flavors, little like Asia meets Carolina BBQ? I don't know how to describe it. We also had the Fall burrata,I strongly advise trying it and when you do, consume it in "Chef bites " a little of everything on a toast point. With a nice glass of Chardonnay I could make a afternoon meal of this! Speaking of Chardonnay we had a beautiful bottle of DUMOL ESTATE CHARDONNAY along with the the Pecan crusted salmon cooked and flavored just right, the Wild mushroom chicken which had a just fantastic delicate cream/wine sauce over it, the chicken & spinach manicotti with a link of local Artisan made smoked sausage? Yes that's what I said-not Italian sausage but a flavorful smoked sausage, It went with the fresh made Marinara on the Manicotti like a marriage made in Heaven. Who would have thought? Last we had the Chilian sea bass-oh WOW and the so delicate Champagne beurre blanc sauce was the topper on this big thick serving of perfectly cooked fish. Then of course the desserts. They were all great especially the one they call "The Bomb" but my heart just fell for the creme brulee as I am picky about that one and it was perfect with some dessert wine. All in all a wonderful evening with service that seemed to know what and when you needed something and was invisible the rest of the time in a beautiful garden setting as we dined al fresco that evening. We will be back but please excuse my ramble as very seldom am I impressed this much and just fix our meals at home because I can usually make something much better than I can go out to get-except sushi but that's another story..

Service was impeccable. Couldn’t be better. Food was good but not amazing for the price. Better than most other dining in the area we’ve had so far. Wine list was extensive. Patio is beautiful. We will go again.

Just had a great dinner celebrating our 39th anniversary. Great food, great service! Shout out to Charles our server ..service done right. And thank you to the hostess (name?). for getting us the table we wanted. It’s a pleasure to dine out when the food, wine and service all make you smile. Thank you.

We hosted our son’s rehearsal dinner on the back covered patio. We used the round tables and it was beautifully set up by Lindsay. The staff and Lindsay were very attentive to every detail from set up, to the buffet, to clean up. Professionally dressed, their upbeat attitude and endless smiles made the night one to remember as we truly felt welcomed, not just another paying customer. Their standard buffet for a group of 30 or more at first made us pause for a moment, but it truly had everything from beef, seafood, pasta and a chicken dish. Don’t let them fool you that dessert was just a plated brownie……it was a oversized piece of chocolate heaven with a caramel drizzle and raspberry sauce. After the dinner, leftover food was boxed up and ready for us home. Great venue, wonderful food, and outstanding staff….would highly recommend,

Always have a great experience at Ironwood. Menu has about anything you would want. Had the Lamb Porterhouse, which I guess all lamb chops are, but these were big!

Wonderful Birthday Celebration with my Daughter & my Good Friends drove to SouthernPines, NC from "Lake Wiley" South Carolina! We had such a Fabulous Lunch/Birthday Celebration together! I had made Reservations, called week before to ask for their very Special, Scrumptious "Tuxedo Truffle Bombs" but was told they dont have them everyday! So I called back on Weekend, was given the "IronWood Cafe" Manager "Dave" he was was so very nice, I ask could I buy them on Sunday to save for Tuesday? Mgr Dave, explain their Deserts are made Fresh, so won't be good to get for Tuesday! But Mgr also said He would try have them for Tuesday Lunch Menu! On our visit Tuesday Oct 8th we were so Suprised, Hostess was aware of our Little Celebration, gave us a Lovely Table with view outside! Then, our Server also knew of our Duel B-Day Celeration, let us know for Desert "Tuxedo Truffle Bombs" were waiting for Us! Everyone at Ironwood was so very nice, we felt Special & made us All so very Happy! My Daughter & I have been to "The Ironwood" for Brunch, also Dinners! But this was my first Birthday Celebration at "Ironwood was very Lovely! My Friends enjoyed our Delicious, Lunch, Ambience & Great Service! My good friend wants to visit again, bring her Husband for Dinner in the near Future also! Great food, tasty drinks and exceptional service. Courtney was our server; she was knowledgeable, attentive, professional with a 6 - star customer service and a true sense of what customers/patrons are looking for in a restaurant. Definitely will visit Ironwood again.

After reading all the positive reviews about this restaurant, my family and I had pretty high expectations. The service was top notch, and I would give them five stars for how well they took care of us. However, the food was not that great. Our steaks were dry, the appetizers were underwhelming, and everything was very pricey. To make matters worse, the parking situation was pretty bad. I really wouldn’t recommend this restaurant, as I feel people could enjoy better food at a better price elsewhere.
