Lisi is our go to date night spot! The food is amazing, service is top notch and consistent, and they have the best gelato ever! Some of our faves are the gnocchi, lobster ravioli, misto salad, the wine, and salted caramel gelato.
Best Italian food i have had!!
Awesome wine list

Excellent food! We got a burrata appetizer which was great and two different kinds of ravioli. One was stuffed with lobster in a sherry cream sauce and the other was short ribs in a mushroom cream sauce. Pasta was cooked perfectly and the fillings were excellent with a decent quantity of filling in each ravioli. They have an extensive wine list as well. Only thing we didn't love was the tiramisu - it was just okay and the top layer of cream had a bit of a weird consistency but everything else was spot on. We were there on the early side for dinner (a little after 5p) and the place was already full so plan accordingly since they don't take reservations.

We’ve eaten here once since moving to pinehurst and becoming members, food was fantastic. We’ve now tried to go there 4 separate times only to be encounter with rude host/hostess. Their website says no reservations yet when we’ve arrived 10min after they open with clear open tables they tell us they’re booked for the night and brushed us off. Once I’d chalk it to a busy night etc. but this has happened times now on different days at different times. We’ve tried calling the first time and they’ve reassured us there are no reservations. I’m not sure what’s going on here but the service does not match their food. Good luck. If by chance you do get in, if I remember right from when we did go over a year ago, the arancini is fantastic, order that. May the odds be in your favor. We won’t be trying to get back in.

Every aspect of my visit was enjoyable. Our server, Hannah, was prompt and polite as well as knowledgeable. Our food tasted exquisite. My favorite is the mushroom ravioli in a cheesey cream sauce. Even the bread in the table's basket was exceptional. I will take all my houseguests to visit Lisi's and recommend Lisi's to my friends.

I’m honestly shocked at the amount of 5 star reviews. They don’t take reservations so fully expect to wait an hour before you get seated. The atmosphere is giving high school cafeteria, you have to yell over other people just for the person across the table to be able to hear you. I accidentally dropped my knife right in front of the waitress, she rolled her eyes like I inconvenienced her and then I had to ask three different waiters for another knife. The food is at best mediocre. My shrimp scampi was $30 (!!!) for linguine and shrimp that I could make better at home. I’m fully convinced that the people rating this place have never been at a good restaurant before, this place is so overrated. Save your money and go anywhere else.

Lisi consistently delivers the best Italian food on the area. The atmosphere is lovely and the servers are so gracious. Michael, the host is particularly so. As busy as they always are we never feel rushed when eating there. We have sampled so much on their menu, and everything has been grand, particularly the veal parmagana and chicken Milanese. The greens appetizer is also delicious. We
Love the outdoor eating setting, as it gets pretty loud indoors. We’ll continue to return

I have been wanting to try this restaurant out for quite some time. Ordered a few drinks at Augies. Bartenders were wonderful and friendly. Get my text that my table is ready so I head over. Lady at the host stand was very friendly and kind. Waitress was not very attentive at all. Unfortunately the service was very slow and it took a while to get the simplest things. She just kept walking by us and I don’t want to be that annoying customer that has to flag my waitress down so I just wait until she comes back. The food was good but I would probably get something else if I decide to go back.

Honestly amazing food and we have been here plenty of times and it’s been lovely. But this past time manager was quite rude to us. They have a weird liquor license situation with the new speak easy bar so it makes the drinking experience less than ideal. We had previously been told a mocktail was okay to bring in from the speak easy but then when we tried today we were shut down. I guess we were told wrong in the past per the manager. That brings me to my next thing why is there no non alcoholic wine option?? They have a vast wine list but no NA wine? Especially in a time where NA wine is vastly popular. They do have an NA beer option but that is it. Again not bashing the food and prior service but just felt an ick from the manager and it put a bad taste in our mouth about a place we absolutely adore. Hoping this will change.

Very broken hearted! We tried to make reservations 3 different days, tried to walk up and eat, and even had the manor, where we are staying, help us get dinner reservations. They would not accommodate us. We’ve heard all the good reviews, but are astounded by your customer service/staff. We were not able to get in and eat after any of these tries. We were not offered an alternative seating arrangement…. Nothing…. If I owned a restaurant I would like to know how your staff is speaking to customers. They are not accommodating and not willing to help at all. Like I said, we tried to get in and eat, even after being told the 6-8 policy. We were really looking forward to eating here for our week long stay, but unfortunately your staff has pushed us away and ruined the experience. I just wanted to let you know.
