I was looking forward to this during my stay. I wanted to try one of the Pinehurst bourbons. The staff was Mia, making me wait 20 minutes for a drink, while sitting on a horrible bar stool that flared up my sciatica. The place had that nasty stale booze smell you’d expect at a frat house. Thought it would be cleaner. Really disappointing, I heard good things. Pinehurst had been good overall, but won’t go back there.

Must have a cocktail here while visiting Pinehurst. Great outdoor seating area with fire pits. Also can host your own draft here with a small little conference room and TV.

Very nice small hotel. Convenient to town and excellent friendly staff. Our package included golf/breakfast. Played resort courses 4 and 8 and both were fun courses and challenging without over the top difficulty. Would recommend breakfast buffet at the Carolina hotel.
Love everything about it: Great staff, plenty of fine Bourbon and firepits outside. It's a winner!

My wife and I just spent the last 4 nights at The Manor in a newly renovated room at it was a great experience! You will be greeted by Kathy at the front desk and she is a real ambassador for the resort! Always upbeat and will bend over backwards to make you stay memorable. We play golf so had to try #’s 2&4 and oooooh my they are difficult?. The silver lining was that my wife got a hole in one on #14 on# 4 and she broke 100 which beat me? So if your a golfer the courses can beat you up but you always have the comfort of the lodging to fall back on. All of the resort lodging options are great so try it, you’ll like it!
My best friend and I went here after picking a random spot on the map and it was the coolest bourbon bar in Pinehurst! The bartender John had a wonderful personality and kept us and the locals entertained. A must visit in my opinion!
Service was insanely slow for a bar and the drinks were mediocre, at best. It was beautifully decorated and the staff were kind, which earned the 3 stars.
Staff here is incredibly inviting and knowledgeable. My wife and I went to a few places on New Year’s Eve. This was our first stop just to say hi to some good friends. It was early yet still possibly the best part of the evening!
Almost done with our 3day/night stay here at pinehurst and can’t compliment the staff enough. Stayed at the Manor and fell in love with the North/South bar. Staff, drinks, service and atmosphere are all at a premium. Both nights, we were taken care of by John and he kept us on site and happy customers. Very happy and thankful for our experience and service all around!
Beautiful bar. Very comfortable. Excellent selection of bourbon and whiskey/whiskey. They made an excellent Gray Goose martini for my husband. Wide variety of Old Fashions, Manhattans, Sidecar, Sazarac. Quiet not loud when we were there. Great place for a nightcap.

No prices posted for scotch or bourbon. The wait person had to run back for prices and then run back again when it was too high. I ended up walking out.
The Manor is a lovely small, quiet property that is part of the Pinehurst Resort. It is tucked into a neighborhood very near to the Carolina Hotel and downtown Pinehurst. Shuttles run to the other Pinehurst Resort properties. .They will pick you up quickly when needed, arriving in clean, spacious vehicles with friendly drivers. Check-in was quick with a warm welcome from helpful staff. My room was large, clean and recently renovated. It had several windows, bottled water and a good coffee maker. The bathroom was also large with a nice walk-in shower. The only downside was I wanted to work on my laptop and there was no desk in the room. I pulled a bench from the end of the bed over to a nightstand to work - not ideal. I noticed a nice seating area (like a sun porch) and a coffee bar in the lobby. There are also some rocking chairs on the front porch. Overall, I give The Manor a strong 5-star rating with a note that if you need a desk in the room, ask about it upfront. I would definitely stay here again!
Like old fashioned get their vanilla old fashioned.Friendly staffGreat setup
The Manor was an excellent choice for lodging for my guys golf trip. The rooms were newly renovated and updated. Everything was clean, service was excellent, and the North/South bar was a great place for a scotch and cigar. I will stay again with the guys.
