Get the special! Always terrific. Comfortable, quiet, our server, Ashley, was attentive and helpful. Lots of good things to choose from on the regular menu, too. We will be back soon.
We'd love the Pinecrest Inn restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, the servers are always polite and knowledgeable and the ambience is charming. We are so thankful to have such a wonderful restaurant near to us and we go there as often as we can. It is a true Pinehurst experience, one that we appreciate so much. The management there is awesome.
The Pinecrest Inn is simply the best. If you appreciate golf history and authentic, old-school Pinehurst, this is as good as it gets. A+++
As usual Pinecrest Inn provided us with outstanding service, food and a good time! In fact we have already made another reservation for dinner. Good job!!!,
This was our first dinner at the Pine Crest, and we were pleasantly surprised. The menu is varied, and very well priced. My husband had the shrimp tortellini and loved it, and I had the Pine Crest Chicken, which was GF, and also very good. Our waitress was very nice and helpful in terms of recommendations. Nice pricing on drinks. There is also a pub across the hallway from the dining room, which was lively as well. We'll be back!
The Bad- The food was hit and miss. The salsa taste like Pace from the grocery store. The baked potatoes seemed like they were recooked from the day before. My wife's porter house wasn't tender. My son's smash burger had no flavor. Chicken parmigiana - chicken good spaghetti and sauce bland The Good- Salmon and collard greens were delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere was fantastic.
Steak and salmon were delicious! Love the historic Inn. Reasonably priced. Good value. Thank you~
The Pine Crest Inn is a traditional stop during our annual trek to Pinehurst for golf each April. She had a great time this year; very good service, good food. Will plan to return next year.
The food never disappoints and the staff were very nice. Is fast becoming a favorite Pinehurst restaurant.
The food and service was wonderful. My only issue - I ordered stuffed sole, which was wonderful, but the portion size was very small. Almost a kids size portion. All other portion sizes I saw were much much larger. Otherwise a great evening.

I had the Chicken Pinecrest and it was cooked perfectly. My wife had the fried chicken which she said was outstanding. Service was as always good.
I had the beef short ribs and mashed potatoes with broccolini. The ribs are boneless. Not fatty. And pull apart with fork and knife. So very tender. My husband had the fried chicken and mashed potatoes. He said it was so good and reminded him of Grandma's. They really did a great job. Kudos to the kitchen! Ashley, our server, was very good.
Great food and great live music. Our waitress Tina was fabulous and so much fun. We requested songs with the live band and danced all night after dinner.
I certainly enjoyed my meal. It was served almost immediately and it was delicious. I have always enjoyed my food there. And the service is outstanding.
While the meal was only mediocre ... the atmosphere and our server, Sharon, were fantastic!
