The Pine Crest Inn is a traditional stop during our annual trek to Pinehurst for golf each April. She had a great time this year; very good service, good food. Will plan to return next year.

The food never disappoints and the staff were very nice. Is fast becoming a favorite Pinehurst restaurant.

Opentable Diner

The food and service was wonderful. My only issue - I ordered stuffed sole, which was wonderful, but the portion size was very small. Almost a kids size portion. All other portion sizes I saw were much much larger. Otherwise a great evening.

I had the Chicken Pinecrest and it was cooked perfectly. My wife had the fried chicken which she said was outstanding. Service was as always good.

I had the beef short ribs and mashed potatoes with broccolini. The ribs are boneless. Not fatty. And pull apart with fork and knife. So very tender. My husband had the fried chicken and mashed potatoes. He said it was so good and reminded him of Grandma's. They really did a great job. Kudos to the kitchen! Ashley, our server, was very good.

Great food and great live music. Our waitress Tina was fabulous and so much fun. We requested songs with the live band and danced all night after dinner.

I certainly enjoyed my meal. It was served almost immediately and it was delicious. I have always enjoyed my food there. And the service is outstanding.

While the meal was only mediocre ... the atmosphere and our server, Sharon, were fantastic!

We always have one dinner here on our annual golf trip. Great wine list, apps, and the staff and service are impeccable!

An institution in Pinehurst! I recently read a review on Nextdoor about the Pinecrest Inn dining experience. It was negative. I was incensed by the comments. I own a restaurant. I understand what "one" negative post can do. I don't think most people understand. or perhaps they do??? Online posts don't just go away. The great majority of folks in Pinehurst and those who visit, love the Pinecrest! Every establishment has a bad moment. That does not mean that you have to beat them down. For those of you looking for the best hometown experience go to Pinehurst with its great food, atmosphere, history and people who work hard to serve you... look at all the wonderful reviews... they are the real deal. Best to the Pinecrest! Chris... an ardent supporter!

My Family and I go a few times a month to Sunday Brunch. We went there for brunch on Sunday Oct 20th around 11:30 am . The dining room wait staff were fantastic as usual. The issue was the buffet serving person. She seemed drunk or high. Stumbling around , giving you a blank stare and swaying . She was unable to get the food on the plate and she resorted to serving with her hands . Cross contaminating all the different buffet foods so anyone with allergies beware. The food was also very cold and stale by 11:30 . We usually have better luck earlier around 9am
