Absolutely phenomenal! Southern Q catered our wedding, and could not have asked for any better! Food was top notch, and their service was even better. Even made to-go boxes for the groom and bride after seeing they did not have much time to eat which was extremely thoughtful. Would give ten stars if able, highly recommend!

Southern Q and Seafood: BBQ is a southern specialty and with being based in the heart of North Carolina, Southern Q takes pride in doing it right. I was privileged enough to be treated to their award-winning BBQ at a family gathering on 7/14/23 that preluded my cousin's wedding. The authentic NC pulled pork BBQ was made with a flavorful dry rub and juicy, tender hickory smoked butts. In addition to the fantastic BBQ pork, I had the following sides. House Salad: Fresh, crisp greens that I topped with a creamy honey mustard dressing. Baked Beans: Soft, sweet, and flavorful. Nothing flashy, but simple done right. Mac N Cheese: This was some of the best Mac N Cheese I've ever had. In fact, I would probably only place it second to M.A.C.S. back in my home state of WI. Southern Q's version is perfectly crispy on the outside with the inner portions being packed with creamy noodles, buttery flavor, and a plethora of cheese. I had to go back for seconds with this side. The pork, salad, beans, and Mac are all Doughboy approved, but my favorite was easily the phenomenal mac n cheese. Truth be told I didn't have much of an appetite the next night at the wedding because I ate so much of this delicious food. I wish I could give specific shout outs, but I was unable to recall the names of the catering staff. Regardless, all the catering staff were extremely polite and friendly.Doughboy_Food_Reviews

The lobster bites and beef sliders were amazing. The staff is friendly and very quietly efficient. I was especially grateful for their thorough clean up in the kitchen and throughout the entertainment area. Thank you, Southern Q
