The Tavern at The Holly Inn

Love this place, it’s a true tavern atmosphere with a great menu. Service was the classic Pinehurst experience; above and beyond.

Took reservation. Gave us 30 minute estimate once our party arrived. Thenthe lost our reservation after waiting for over an hour and instead of correcting it and getting us in next available, they said we’d have to start back at the back of the list. Pathetic communication.

We love dining here on beautiful days so we can enjoy the patio, the flower beds lining the patio are gorgeous in spring and summer.

The food is delicious, the Peruvian chicken tacos and Butcher’s turkey sandwich are some of our favorites and their complimentary house made chips are addictive!

The servers always take great care of us with prompt refills and friendly service. Definitely splurge on their blueberry-peach cobbler topped with blueberry ice cream for dessert, you won’t regret it.

Had great dinner meals and service. The homemade chips were fabulous.

A really super nice place, but the service was not fantastic. The waiter started out super friendly, but then checked on us once and asked if we needed anything, which we said we did. But I think what she really meant was do you need anything because I’m not gonna bring it to you. So frustrating on thatbecause we never got drink refills or the side that we asked for. She seemed attentive when it came to money and getting the food to us, that’s about it very cute and the food was very good.

Wonderful place. The service was great and with a smile. Background music was soothing. My son & I had worked in my yard. We both were very tired & this was what we both needed to relax, enjoy the music with delicious food.

Our server was absolutely awful! Thank goodness there was another server that actually was taking care of what we needed. NO ONE else came to check on us, including our sever.

Hot mess burger, wonderful service and fresh cut chips?? Yes, yes and yes again!!

Food is pretty good. $17.50 for a drink made of lemon juice, ice and one shot of Tito's. So, two drinks cost more than my appetizer and entree. Probably won't eat here again until prices come back down to earth.

My beer glass was cracked down the entire length of the glass and I still had to pay for it. Very careless on behalf of the bartender and poor customer compensation. One local beer cost $8.

The waitstaff gets suffers for this with a mediocre tip while the owner makes bank on the tab.

Chicken fried chicken with mash and collards was amazing!!! Racheal the barkeep was phenomenal and the captain was just as nice. I will be returning sooner than later.
