In the Pinehurst area for a golf weekend and Google searched breakfast places and The Village Cafe came up, good ratings so four of us went to grab a late breakfast. Very nice place, clean, and nice people working there. I got the Traditional breakfast plate, two eggs, hash browns, toast and the meat choice was the Liver Pudding. Never had it, the nice waitress said it was a "rectangular mush". I was not sold until she said some people think it’s like "Scrapple". Sold! I like Scrapple when I can find it, it was basically the same thing, the presentation of it was not the greatest on the plate. Otherwise it was good! Just had another awesome meal at the village cafe! It was slammed- but we were still able to be seated quickly with quick table turn around. Our server took care of us quickly and we had hot, delicious food sitting in front of us in just a couple of minutes, despite the packed restaurant! Love this place!
