We were impressed by the level of service we received. Sitting at the bar, we found the bartender to be attentive and personable . The food was wonderful! We ordered the Salmon over risotto and Gnocchi with sausage, both of which were flavorful and well-seasoned. The restaurant is small and quaint, with an atmosphere that might appeal more to an older generation. Nonetheless, I will definitely be back.

Went on a recommendation, won't go again. Our waitress was either new or just not well versed on the menu. When trying to pick between apps, she said, "I've never tried either of them," then struggled to explain what each entailed. We didn't know there was a specials menu until after our meals came out, and only by chance overhearing another waitress with another party. The food was alright at best, we had the "Steak & Potatoes" and "Lobster Thermidor", the steak must have been made from recently frozen as there was a puddle of water under it. The lobster meal was lack luster and a small serving. Honestly, the winning dish was the Foie Gras we had as an app and the French fries that came with the steak. We love a night out, not afraid to pay decent money for good food, but felt very let down by this experience.

Caviar, champagne and a burger with a fried egg on it!!!! Hell yes please. I LOVE this place.

If there's a restaurant to eat at while you're in the pinehurst area, it is Wolcotts without a single doubt. Whether lunch or dinner, you will not be disappointed.

On Good Friday afternoon the restaurant was quite & our initial order of your “delicious”fries (our son & DIL, frequent Walcotts) took forever, apparently the kitchen didn’t get the order & our server wasn’t aware enough of our order, to inquire about it…?. 3 out of 4 dinners were very tasty, unfortunately my lobster bisque was not…, but the lobster rolls were very tasty (the bisque was lacking in lobster & flavor, sorry to say! We will try again…having just moved from Phoenix AZ., we have enjoyed great & fine cuisine, we will return another time & hope for a better experience!
Parking: Street parking only & it’s hard to find an open spot unless you come at off dining times!
Wow! The food was amazing and delicious. The service was stupendous. We will be back!

Lovely place for romantic dining! Snagged a table for Valentine’s- so quaint! The service was perfect- waiter was so nice and helpful. Complementary biscuits were amazing. The Salmon risotto was my pick ?? and the hubs was the steak and potatoes. So so good. Try it out!
