Worst service, worst food, over price. Trying to claim its self as an upscale restaurant. We arrived on a Sunday Night at 6pm. 3 servers absolutely dead in the place. Our server seems to care more being lazy than serving. After he took our order brought our drinks and delivered our food he never came back at all in order for me to get a refill i actually had to go up and take my glass to him.
Food was not even good enough for the price we paid. I got two tacos and french fries for $18.00 my tacos came with tiny bit of meat, crap load of onions. and cilantro. I asked to have tomato, cheese and sour cream which was another 2.50. Came with a tiny dab of sour cream and no cheese. The tacos were not even regular size but smaller. The fries were still raw not crisp at all.
Partner had a taco salad, the shell was still raw, it had nothing but bell peppers. He took a side place and it was over filled by the time he removed all the peppers. When he ordered it there was no mention of bell peppers or he would have told them. Yet again our server never returned.
Their website offers more food than their restaurant the whole menu was on a single page. Drinks on back.
My partner has never in his life never not left a tip but he didn’t leave one.
Not sure if the owners think this is what an upscale restaurant is or what but taco bells food was 1000 times better than this crap

Disappointing, I really liked the look and feel of the place, but the service was slow even though the restaurant was almost empty. I ordered a burrito which came with a big side of crinkle fries, which seemed very strange to me at a Mexican restaurant. The burrito was bland and not very big. I also ordered a cocktail that was $16 but mediocre. My favorite part of the meal was the chips and salsa 😞. I’m OK with it if you want to market yourself as a higher end Mexican restaurant, but you probably shouldn’t serve crinkle fries as the main side dish, and if you are going to charge higherend prices, it needs to taste like it

Second time here, came on Friday night with a two man band playing. This place is not order by number mexican food. They have amazing seafood, whole snapper!!! Their beef is prime, seasoned and grilled to perfection. Get the shrimp, beef and chicken dip it's amazing. If you want authentic Mexican food and seafood this is the place. Much rather have a nice dinner here than same old same at the Garrison. Give them a try, you will be treated to great food and service. Pineville lucked out with 123 Main Mexican setting up shop

We finally tried out the New Mexican restaurant tonight and it was disappointing. After tip it was 44 dollars for an enchilada that looked like a burrito and then it came with ore-ida frozen fries! I’ve never heard such a thing. Unfortunately, we won’t be back because the food was subpar for its location. Pineville is a very diverse food area with many options, I wish this place was better!!!

Expensive subpar food I was there with my brother in law and my wife, all of our dishes were very bland, almost tasteless, the sides felt like they had them lying around just waiting to be served. The place was almost empty and for some reason they have very strong air fresheners around the dining space. For Mexican I would expect flavorful food, you're better off paying this money for great food in an upscale place which this isn't
Came in for the shrimp ceviche and stayed for the Michelada. They were both so good and freshly made. Wish I could of had more miches. Definitely will come back.

Thursday evening 10/10/24; Not your typical Mexican restaurant, more upscale so keep that in mind. The steak quesadilla was $22 but you get a nice portion of steak. They charge 3% to use a credit card. The rice and beans portions are comically small, served in condiment containers. The house hot salsa is good. The music was fun and upbeat. The bartender was nice. One of the male team members was wearing a plain wrinkled tee shirt which was not a good look. Nice interior.

The food tastes good but the service is terrible. My experience in the place was that we had already ordered the accommodation of 3 adults and 2 children, which one of the children forgot to serve and had to wait for her, when the next table arrived, they were like 15 people including children and all their service came to them first than to us and the waiter sat down to eat with them.
