Place is dirty upon entry. Foul smell at the bar. Hostess doesn’t want to be there clearly. I hate leaving reviews like this but we got up to get food else where. It’s clearly understaffed and dirty.

Filthy. Bar counter had food all over it. Bathroom dirty. No soap or towels. Big pass.

First time at this location. Food was good. But the service was BAD! lazy, phone to the nose and when we left no good bye or anything from anyone. Honestly I could have left without paying the bill. Come eat at this location for a Free meal!

As a Google reviewer, i really try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt. I know food service can be trying at times and customers are a finicky bunch. But this level of rude was ridiculous. Our 11 yr old grandson wanted to go to Applebees in Pineville for lunch. So, of course, Gigi and Granddad complied. We came into Applebees and literally there were only 2 parties in the entire restaurant. We waited to be seated for 10 mins and no one came out to greet. I had the bright idea to call them and let someone know we were up front. A young lady came out, and said I will be with u in a minute and answers the phone. At that point, when she snswered, i said Hi we r the party standing at the front waiting to be seated. Could we be seated and I hung up. Surely we would be seated then. Right? No, she hangs up the phone, looks at us and goes back in the back, and doesnt come back out. Naturally we left. I noticed they already had a 3 star rating. Perhaps i should have paid attention. I wonder if The Rock would want to know how one of the restaurants he has partnered with treats its customers. We have always enjoyed Applebees as a family. Our grandson said he really no longer likes your place and the service was, in his words, terrible.

A bit deserted most of the times but food is nice , good quality, nice service. Half price appetisers after 9pm are awesome

So my family and i went here for my niece birthday today and I will have to say this place was awful. First when we walked in and the waitress saw that it was a group of us and kind of took off to the back. It took her about 10 mins before anyone came back out. There was another waitress sitting by the bar on her phone. She looked at us and rolled her eyes. Finally about 2-3 waitress came out from the back and kinda of scattered around giggling completely ignoring us. Finally a lady came and showed us to our seats. The food took forever to come and when it did it was burnt and nasty. When we were paying for our food our waitress said that the other girls didn't want to wait on us and never gave a reason why. I was so offended and disgusted with everything about that place. I will never go back there and I would not recommend anyone going either.

Should close the store. Steak was way over cooked and was given plastic utensils to eat with. Buried my granddaughter pizza . Food was terrible I have eaten in many restaurants this was the worst ever.

Worst service ever! Woman said air conditioning not working and walked away. Kept looking at us. Temperature was fine. Used same excuse last week. 2 other customers came and left she looked at us for 10 minutes then we left. She didn’t want to serve us or anyone else. Only 3 tables with customers. Totally rude!

First the restaurant was pretty empty they sat us in a booth that had no window shade its 97 outside bright and sunny . When I asked if we can sit else where they said no....my husband ordered the whole Lotta bacon burger no tomatoes, hes allergic his burger had 2 slice of bacon and tomatoes he sent it back to get a new one and the new burger had unmelted cheese no lettuce and no bacon it was a 115 dollar check we paid and my husband never ate a thing...there were 6 of us one of us was a 7 yr old and the 7 yr old got his food a whole 12 min later than the rest of the table he had a corn dog and 3 mozzarella sticks...

Food quality was horrible and you seem to not be able to have an adequate staff working at the Pineville, NC location.
You used to have delicious food, but awful quality of food.
