I was disappointed with my visit today. I drove from Matthews for Butterscotch Bomb and Purple Daze listed on the online menu, only to find they weren’t available in-store. The online menu really needs to reflect current flavors. I ended up getting the mac daddy coconut, but even that didn’t taste like it used to. The quality has definitely gone down. Not the experience I expected from a place I once enjoyed.

This ice cream shop saved the day. My friends and I went to the game store around the corner to play magic the gathering only to find out it was closed. Fortunately we saw this ice cream shop, checked to see if the tables were big enough to play on (they were ),and then we all got delicious ice cream to eat while we played. Incredibly nice staff will definitely be stoping by whenever we are around the pineville area again.

Visited this cute ice cream shop today and loved all the decor. They went all out for Halloween. The two girls who were working were so friendly and attentive and the shop wasn’t very busy for a Saturday afternoon. Got the brownie sundae, which was huge and the vanilla ice cream was delicious! It’s enough ice cream for two people. I’m not a fan of chocolate chips in the brownies so that wasn’t great but the brownie was chewy. My friend got a chocolate shake and that was very good too.
There is plenty of parking in the lot across the street, lots of seating and clean restrooms.
Would highly recommend this local shop! Yummy vanilla ice cream for sure.

After my son’s soccer team won their match last night, the coach invited all the kids to Carolina Scoops in downtown Pineville for ice cream. The place had a fun and friendly atmosphere they were even decorated for Halloween, which looked amazing and added to the excitement for the kids.
Parking was a little hard to find, but once we were inside, it was totally worth it. The ice cream was fresh and delicious, and every kid loved it. It’s a small, welcoming shop that really knows how to make people smile. We had such a great time celebrating there!

Second time being there last night and what a horrible experience. Unpleasant girls that were very passive aggressive while I was ordering. I am still not knowledgeable how everything can be ordered. I felt very uncomfortable and ready to leave. Not an atmosphere I like to be in when I enjoy one of my favorite deserts. The ice cream is always pleasant so I expect the staff to be as well.
Update 10-1: I’m beyond satisfied with the costumer service with the owner I will be coming back! I will try Carolina scoops again because I love their ice cream! Thank you so much!
