Very disappointed, we loved Zafran and Zauq before restaurant changed owners. We thought we would try now under new ownership. We had a horrible experience with the waiter using his bare hand to put our food in to-go containers. I hate to see what rating they get from the health inspection. This is not a Pakistani restaurant like before, food is majority Indian with no red meat. The prices are ridiculous we ordered the mixed grill (30$) this included chicken wings! The naan were soaked in ghee and nothing like the previous Zauqs. Customers beware this is nothing like the restaurants before!! My family and I love Pakistani Grilled meats and Naan, we are looking for another option in Charlotte.

First time visited this place after changed owner from Zauq. Zauq was the best compared to this one, from the food taste and presentation. When our food came out in a plastic containers, paper plates and plastic utensils I knew that something wasn’t right especially when you came for nice dinner and spent $$ lolWe got goat curry and Butter chicken. The goat curry was all bones and the butter chicken wasn’t boneless like a usual butter chicken out there and when my husband asked about it the owner said that he said it before which was a lie. He never mentioned anything about their butter chicken will come in bone chicken. Both food were not great, nothing special. 100% prefer Zauq then this one to be honest. Even the food from Triveni Supermarket taste so much better!And nope we’re not planing to coming back. Not recommend this place for sure! Good luck!!

Great food..reminds me of India. We order out from this restaurant every time we can. I drive from Gastonia to Pineville about 30 minutes..it is well worth it. Friendly staff toi.

We stumbled into this place and it was absolutely phenomenal! Got some butter chicken, lamb and chicken tandoori! Give it a shot you won't be dissapointed! My wife enjoyed her vegetarian dish too

This was my first time I’ve eating Indian food. I had the butter chicken, garlic naan, and samosas which were good. I was disappointed they didn’t have mango lassi.

This was my first time placing an order from here. The food was excellent I ordered Butter Chicken & Alu Gobhi both the dishes were excellent compliment to the chef. The owner were friendly and helpful. IWould highly recommend this restaurant for anyone to try out. They have wide variety of selections. I would be there regular customer. Awesome quality food with great taste with a wide variety of menu?. Main TRP of this restaurant is the freshness of the food which is really missing in the Charlotte area Indian restaurants. Definitely recommend this place. Paneer kabab and chicken tandoori are must try here. Biriyani is also really good.

The restaurant owners changed from the earlier Zauq and the food taste and presentation has changed too..not in a good way. Yet it wasn’t bad..great variety of Indian/Pakistani non vegetarian and vegetarian dishes. Seating is a bit old and was a little dusty..recommended to order take-out. We tried their chicken chapli and seekh kebabs, chicken kadai and garlic naans. Ended it up with a pistachio kulfi.
