Always so attentive, thank you for always welcoming us with joy. We are delighted with this place. Kevi is a recommended waiter.

Food was cold and service was horrible. Drinks took forever to be served. Tips included and not disclosed. We ordered an appetizer and it came after all the food was out! Waiter was not attentive and was on the phone while serving us. Server was at the bar jumping and up down having a blast and not checking in on our table. You can tell the rice is instant rice and gross to the point my daughter couldn’t eat it and when I let one of the many waiters who brought our food know that the food was cold she was trying to argue and say food was hot enough. Food was way to expensive and gross. Everything deserves less than one star.

Food was excellent. Disappointed that I had a large amount of the fish stew, left it by accident. Called 15 minutes later and they threw it out. Seriously, we were the only ones in the reastaurant. You couldn’t wait? Well, the very next day our phenomenal server Kevin reached out to me and made it right. Been back there a few more times. Food is constantly excellent. Thank you Kevin!

This is the worst Latin food ever. On my first visit my fish was spoiled. I ordered out. On my second visit my fish was fried too hard over seasoned and gross. We’re talking red snapper here people. It’s supposed to be soft succulent and juicy. I ask the waitress to allow me to pay for half. Not the entire thing being this is my second encounter. She said she would take $5 off. What an insult. She said she had to ask her boss and if I didn’t pay, he would make her pay for the meal. Remind you she’s speaking Latin and does not know English. So at this point I’m thinking, are you being held, is your boss holding you accountable for food you serve that is not good. It was too much. So I decided to pay leave and write this review. A place like this in Pineville, NC.. no no
My wife wanted to try their new location close to hwy16. It was just 4 adults 1 teen. Food was ok, looked good, it's half Peruvian/Mexican. I had the grill steak mainly. Our food was ok Ana the waitress was attentive and polite. However they charge me 28.30$ extra for service charge. It's mandatory charge when it's a large party... it was only 5 people!!! I can understand if it was 8 persons or more.. I was thinking about returning to try the Peruvian plates but not anymore.. stay away. They should have disclose that before we sat down..

Shockingly, Machu Picchu was better than the reviews led me to believe. Some friends and I were in the area and the first choice was not open yet so we noticed Machu Picchu was close by and the open sign was blazzin'. We did look at the reviews and were hesitant but decided to give it a try and we are so glad we did.
The place was slow (we were super early for dinner) so we were quickly seated and out drink order taken. I ordered side of beans, rice and plantains (maduros) and everything was perfect. My friend ordered the beef stew/ beef ribs and rice and it was amazing.
The staff was super friendly and took very good care of us.
The prices were a little steep for what we got ($5.50 for a small rice) but everything tasted really, really good.

Nothing special. The waitress could smile and treat customers a little better. The tip is not mandatory and it depends on how good your service is. In this case it was AWFUL. the waitress made fun of the amount we gave her as tip and then started making nasty comments about it to the other workers. We were really excited to come here to try the food, but even if the food would have been great (IT WAS NOT), service is horrible. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE.

I came here with a friend and was blown away. Such a clean modern space. The menu options are awesome so many good choices. I got a nacho plate thinking I want that hungry it was so good I finished every bite. I highly recommend anyone that appreciates Latin food to come try this place. Worth every cent.

VERY DISHONEST PEOPLE WORKING HERE. MESSED MY ORDER UP TWICE AND TRIED TO CHARGE ME A HIGHER PRICE ON SOMETHING I DIDNT ORDER. THEN AFTER WAITER HEATED THE PAPER BILL TO BLACK OUT HER NAME AND DIDNT GIVE ME THE CUSTOMER RECEIPT COPY, TRIED TO BE FUNNY BY SAYING THANKS FOR THE REVIEW BECAUSE SHE SEEN ME TYPING ON MY PHONE. I WASNT LEAVING A REVIEW, BUT IM LEAVING ONE NOW.
🌑 Walked in restaurant a little before 9pm. No smile or welcome. Just looked at me as if i was in the wrong place.
It seemed as if the waiter had a problem with me from the beginning. I came here just for the Whole Fish Red Snapper. Even showed the waiter the picture on their page. I asked what does it come with? She said rice even tho it doesn't say rice in the description. Then she offered beans instead of the salad.
My order came out, it was a Fried Fish Filet, not Red Snapper. They other waiter took it back to the kitchen and placed my order again. I even told her Red Snapper with the fried plantain and yellow rice and beans that the first waiter offered. I waited patiently for them just to bring me out a Mojarra Frita, Not a Red Snapper as I requested. I said this is not red snapper. I said forget it, i will just eat it. But it wasnt even good. I just boxed it up.
When the bill comes, Im being charged higher for the Pescado Filet in which i didnt order and giving all these excuses about yellow rice and beans.... when they messed my order up twice. Then the waiter had the nerve to get upset and get smart with me saying Thanks for the review, assuming i was typing a review at that time.
One thing i regret is actually tipping her when they wanted to charge me more even after the inconvenience. Why they couldn't get the order right twice when the place is empty and we both are speaking the same language?
And again, the Bill was heated to block out her name.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while, so my friend and I decided to stop in for a late lunch. The restaurant wasn’t busy, so we were seated quickly, and our server initially came across as pleasant and upbeat. That part started off well.
Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. The table we were first given was directly under the air conditioning and extremely cold, but to their credit, they did move us when we asked. After we ordered, though, the service became uncomfortable. Multiple staff members came over to our table in very short intervals — first asking if everything was okay, then soon after asking if we needed to-go boxes, even though we were still eating and having conversation. It didn’t feel like attentive service; it felt like we were being rushed out.
On top of that, the food was overpriced and honestly mediocre. What bothered me most was the atmosphere — it gave the impression that we weren’t welcome, as if they didn’t want Black customers there. That left me feeling not just disappointed, but offended.
Overall, between the food quality, pricing, and the way we were treated, I can’t recommend this restaurant and I don’t plan to return.

Food was not great. Went there for chicken a la brasa. It was less than average. Yuca came out just boiled, tasteless. PIO PIO REST beats them by far. Not worth the money.
