“Came in on Saturday and the line was long honestly . I got my food and received amazing service from Nijay and the younger man Dallas .i had no issues with the line it’s when I went to eat my food . I sat by the window booth in the corner I seen the manager his name being Jaylen wipping the lobby lights in the middle of there rush! And as I walked away to get something to drink he stood on the table in front of my food and started to clean the lights spraying blue liquid spray over my food. I asked him to move and he didn’t . So I walked away and went to the other younger man on the line Dallas . I told him what happened and he said he was sorry and go to the manger on cash Nijay being at the time . I told him what happened and Nijay stopped what he was doing and said he was sorry about that and made by bowl over and gave me free pita chips . I appreciate Nijay for helping during this time as I was frustrated . I feel like that manager spraying over food should learn about safety violations and how bad that is . And when I told him what he was doing was wrong he seemed to not care . On top of that when yk there’s a rush you shouldn’t leave two people on the line to struggle ! Go help them instead of spraying over peoples food . The only reason I have this review 3 stars and it one was because of Nijay’s amazing service and dedication to helping me through the line . Thanks again . !“

“This place is totally legit! They have awesome Mediterranean style cuisine which never disappoints! It’s small and a little divey but this place is all about the food which is awesome! They have Lunch Specials (M-F until 3PM) where you can get Chicken or Kafta Kababs or Shawarma Meat with two sides for $12.99. That’s one of the best lunch deals in town! It is on my regular restaurant rotation list!
Friendly staff with good service too. If you love Mediterranean cuisine or are on the Mediterranean Diet and don’t feel like cooking, this is the place for you!“

“My son Roman came here with a friend, and while we were in Charlotte running errands the day before New Year’s Eve, I told him I was hungry. He said, “Mom, you will love YAFO Kitchen.”
As a top Google Guide & Contributor with over 233 Million views, I’ve eaten pretty much everywhere, but I have to say this: the food here is incredibly tasty. Every bite is packed with flavor, and the toum (garlic spread/dip) is to die for!
I grew up near Detroit, and my mom would frequent the best Mediterranean restaurants, bringing home carry-out on a weekly basis—so I know good Mediterranean food.
During this visit, I introduced myself to the GM of YAFO, whose name is Drex, and told him how much I loved the food & especially the toum. He then introduced me to Alfredo, the chef. It was nearly closing time, but we had a great chat. I told them both that I can’t wait to bring my husband, who is the ultimate critic—he had both a Lebanese and a Greek grandmother, and the food in his household was insanely good. I know YAFO will impress him.
The best part is that I had so much food in my bowl (I ordered the chicken shawarma with multiple toppings, including tabbouleh, and my son had the falafel) that it was enough for lunch the next day.
And let’s talk about the pita bread that came with our bowls. I have never had such fluffy pita in my life.
To my Google viewers: I hope this place doesn’t get too busy to the point we can’t get in—but seriously, just go. Trust me!

“My wife and I came here after our wedding yesterday! The decor and ambiance was cozy but also very refined. We had a few more people show up to our after-party than we expected in our reservation, but the staff just pulled over another table for us so would have room. The manager was heading out for the evening when we were seated, but he came back in just to congratulate us and thank us for celebrating with them. He also brought out a bottle of champagne for us, which was an unexpected but very nice gesture. The cocktails themselves were also delicious. We had a wonderful time and I'm sure we will be back again.“

“I came here for the NCAA tournament and my first time in charlotte. The rooftop bar is on point. All the bartenders made great drinks. Shout out to will. Will and I talked about the drinks I like and he mixed up things that weren’t even on the menu and they were the best drinks I have had in a long time. The balance in them was impeccable. I highly recommend to anyone to go to their bar. Great views and even better service“

“I just had to share my experience at this amazing restaurant found out a local food group.,I'm so glad I decided try it. Let me tell you was blown away! I order the lamp gyro, the meat was so flavorful and juicy - definitely no dry meat here. It's really difficult to find good Mediterranean food in Florida, but in this place haa totally mastered it. The owner of the restaurant are such lovely people, and if you haven't been there yet, you're seriously missing out.“

Plane was delayed 3 and 1/2 hours so I got stuck here... And surprise surprise, an amazingly curated '70s playlist playing overhead on a pretty decent speaker system. Really kind of nice. I've got to ask if it's Spotify, or what?... I'm nostalgically enjoying a glass of wine and memories of high school and my first two years of college. So how fun is that? Also they have a fun little line list... Actually discovered a newTempranillo(Marques de Caceres).
Plus the wait staff is fast friendly and intelligent. So what's not to like? If you're in terminal C and you're waiting for a plane this is not a bad place to be.“
