“Came in on Saturday and the line was long honestly . I got my food and received amazing service from Nijay and the younger man Dallas .i had no issues with the line it’s when I went to eat my food . I sat by the window booth in the corner I seen the manager his name being Jaylen wipping the lobby lights in the middle of there rush! And as I walked away to get something to drink he stood on the table in front of my food and started to clean the lights spraying blue liquid spray over my food. I asked him to move and he didn’t . So I walked away and went to the other younger man on the line Dallas . I told him what happened and he said he was sorry and go to the manger on cash Nijay being at the time . I told him what happened and Nijay stopped what he was doing and said he was sorry about that and made by bowl over and gave me free pita chips . I appreciate Nijay for helping during this time as I was frustrated . I feel like that manager spraying over food should learn about safety violations and how bad that is . And when I told him what he was doing was wrong he seemed to not care . On top of that when yk there’s a rush you shouldn’t leave two people on the line to struggle ! Go help them instead of spraying over peoples food . The only reason I have this review 3 stars and it one was because of Nijay’s amazing service and dedication to helping me through the line . “This place is totally legit! They have awesome Mediterranean style cuisine which never disappoints! It’s small and a little divey but this place is all about the food which is awesome! They have Lunch Specials (M-F until 3PM) where you can get Chicken or Kafta Kababs or Shawarma Meat with two sides for $12.99. That’s one of the best lunch deals in town! It is on my regular restaurant rotation list!

I grew up near Detroit, and my mom would frequent the best Mediterranean restaurants, bringing home carry-out on a weekly basis—so I know good Mediterranean food.
During this visit, I introduced myself to the GM of YAFO, whose name is Drex, and told him how much I loved the food & especially the toum. He then introduced me to Alfredo, the chef. It was nearly closing time, but we had a great chat. I told them both that I can’t wait to bring my husband, who is the ultimate critic—he had both a Lebanese and a Greek grandmother, and the food in his household was insanely good. I know YAFO will impress him.
The best part is that I had so much food in my bowl (I ordered the chicken shawarma with multiple toppings, including tabbouleh, and my son had the falafel) that it was enough for lunch the next day.
And let’s talk about the pita bread that came with our bowls. I have never had such fluffy pita in my life.
To my Google viewers: I hope this place doesn’t get too busy to the point we can’t get in—but seriously, just go. Trust me!

“Great food and great service. Got there with a reservation and we were seated within about 5 minutes of our reservation time. It was pretty crowded but wasn't too much of a problem.

Food was really good, got some of the shareable plates for the two of us to share, the brussel sprouts were great and loved the short rib croquettes.

The cocktail menu was extensive and the ones we tried were very good.

Even though it was crowded didn't feel like we were crowded at the table. We were able to have a good conversation without feeling like we had to worry about others hearing us.

Will and I talked about the drinks I like and he mixed up things that weren’t even on the menu and they were the best drinks I have had in a long time. The balance in them was impeccable. I travel almost every week for work, and have traveled extensively for years. This spot is a hit. I was flying thru CLT, needed a non-greasy lunch and a place to post up before a 5 hour flight west, and found this restaurant.

I ordered the Grilled chicken BLT - what a treat! Terrific sandwich - not just for an airport - one of the best I've had. Cook on everything was great - bacon, toast on the bread, chicken, greens. 100% recommend.

It was early, so I didn't drink anything but water, but other patrons seemed very happy with their beverages, and the beer list looked great.

Finally - the bartender was friendly, great service. Crazy deep voice like Marvin Gaye, odd on a older white guy. I think the female patrons were enjoying! Nice guy, great service, voice made me laugh!“
