There are several good restaurants in Charlotte for Indian food - this is by far the best, in my opinon. The food was delicious, the pricing was reasonable, we had no worries about gluten contamination, and the gentleman who took our order was extremely helpful. He took pride in his restaurant and it showed. Thanks VJ!

Worst customer service and dining experience ever. Be ready to be served piece meal - if your family orders four dishes in a single order , expect all of them be served at different time intervals. So one person in your table will be eating at rest will be watching him eat. Absolutely weird. Apparently, for the owner, this is want every customer who walks into the restaurant has signed up for and is included in their definition of self service. And they insist that this is how it’s gonna be. Complete disregard for how you serve food per our culture. As for the taste, I would rate it 2.5 /5, my wife makes better sambhar even though she is from North India. What the restaurant fails to understand is making food is just one part of it, how you serve and make the customer feel is the other half (I would even say more than half). The restaurant needs to learn the true Indian way of serving. And you got it right - I am never going back again.

Good food and service. Given that they specialize in South Indian food, they should expand the menu with otger south indian items.

A refreshing experience for anyone looking for Indian vegetarian especially so, if you are a South Indian. Definitely not the same old boring uniform standard taste that we have in other Indian restaurants. Not to forget the North, their Paneer Butter Masala was delicious. Being from Bangalore, this the first time I ate Mysore Masala Dose in the US in 18yrs which tasted very very close to Bengaluru / Mysore taste (red chutney). As a family of 4 we had chance to try few varieties from their menu on a road trip and must say it was full of flavor reminding of home made food.I am sure they use personally chosen ingredients to make masala rather than simply pick from a shelf at the grocery.Flavorful yet not overbearing with masala which would have been a turn off.Green chutney was one the good ones I have tried so far. Their lassis, definitely fresh and delicious. Different from what we have in usual restaurants.Wish they were close to where we live. Would have been our go to place.Loved the simple yet bright set up too. Takes you back to good old days.A must try for someone who prefers pure veg like us. One of the best is what I want to conclude it with.

We tried this restaurant for lunch on a weekday (Tue) on our way from Greensboro to Atlanta and we really liked the food. We had Mysore masala dosa, vada, naan, PBM, fried rice and noodles. Taste was good and fresh. Finally tried filter coffee and that alone was something that I did not like or not my taste. Will certainly try this place next time we visit Charlotte. They have a nice patio in the front and on a nice day it will be good to eat outsideParking: Decent space for parking both in front and back

Yummy! After driving past this place a couple of times with much curiosity, I stopped in to get their samosas and garlic naan. Both were absolutely delicious and traveled well since I did a to go order. The gentleman working the counter was delightful. The Chef’s in the back even came out to acknowledge my presence as I was the only one there when I initially arrived. I’m excited to return to try more of their menu options.

My daughter picked me up from the airport and found this place for us to try. I like Indian food but don't have a lot of experience with it and was overwhelmed with ordering. The gentleman that helped us was extremely nice and helpful. He even came over to make sure everything was okay. The food was delicious! I'll be back whenever I'm in town.

Everything is clean and hygiene, the food is also good but I didn’t feel the touch of Indian spices. If they added more spices and flavor it will be extraordinary.
