Nice location and great service - the prepacked food is less desirable - pictures make it look fresh - but just reheated.

I have been staying in Pineville for a couple years now and I go to the Starbucks in Pineville across from the hospital. I went in today and I didn't have any money to buy a coffee I just wanted to sit and relax and charge my phone. After about 30 minutes I was asked to leave because I didn't purchase anything and was told if I wanted to stay I had to buy something. I myself am not very well off at the moment and if I want to have a place to sit and just relax after a long day I should be able to. I am disappointed that I can't even just go in and sit much less get a water for free and relax.

Starbucks has completely lost its way. Let me start by saying the workers at this location are awesome-very kind, hardworking and good at their jobs. But the business model prioritizes transactions over experience. Howard Shore created Starbucks so that people have a place to go to have conversation in community. But now, between drive-through orders and mobile pick up orders, the in-store customer is placed last on the list and has to wait an extremely long time while everyone else is served first. There is no community or third place at Starbucks anymore. It is simply a place where they turn out caffeine and sugar for the masses.

The new cherry Chai is really good. I was handed out a cup of cold foam when my drink was made wrong, so I had to mix it in the parking lot, so if you get it wrong, just remake the drink. It's just better customer service!

Here’s a million dollar idea.. put the lid on the cup!! Sincerely,

Ok, here goes.
I live within 2 minutes of this Starbucks and am there very regularly.
Today, April 17, I had some time between calls and decided to stop by this Starbucks.
I politely asked the workers if I could have them fill up a small water bottle when I came in. The response was that I needed to Purchase something right then and there to have the bottle filled with regular water. I found this humorous and declined but had already come there and thought could relax in the lobby a bit and Maybe purchase something(my kids love the cakepops.)
After about 10 minutes, I was approached by a young worker Seyy who told me for me to Continue being in the Lobby, I would need to Buy something Right away!
I asked several other people in the lobby who were there Before me if They had ordered something yet and was told they had not.
I was then told by the worker named Seyy that if I don’t leave the Starbucks Right Away without purchasing something, then she would call the police.

Very weird, dystopian situation and this local Starbucks just lost the business of me, my wife, my children and my friends that live nearby.

Ordering the same drink w. no ice and w a new person I got attitude asking for no ice. I told them to do the best they could. At the window, the drink was only half full. I told em I had never received a drink only half full. The manager said it’s their new standard. Keep your drink Starbucks w people like this running your show you’re bound to lose business.

This place is SO busy and you cannot grab your own straws or stoppers anymore so you’re forced to ask the busiest employees. The items are left out at other locations so you don’t have to bother anyone: please put the items back out so we don’t have to delay the employees in doing their job.

Some of us can't drink whole milk! Please be mindful when people ask for Oat and you give whole. I have an allergy and am now sick.

I enjoyed the atmosphere, and the people. Stopped in and did some emails Friday in the afternoon for 2 hours - before I went up the road to pick up my car that wasn’t fixed, that was supposed to be (Dutch Miller Kia) … My iced cold brew was great, their chocolate croissants are always so yummy when they’re heated up! … Good comfortable chair, to sit and do my emails and social media … Well run place, with all the staff was nice 🙂

Everytime I've placed a online order, it has been excellent, so far...
