Food and atmosphere was spectacular. We ordered multiple apps, the Philly cheesesteak rolls and buffalo cauliflower stood out. There was a lot of conversation which created a loud atmosphere but background music was just loud enough to create a vibrant evening. Entrees were cooked to perfection. Scallops served with the risotto were amazing. Multiple flavors that paired well.
The reason for not giving 5 stars was the time it took to get entree’s served. Our table of 4 order med-rare steak, scallops and salmon. Quick entrees but took a little too long to come out.
Overall, terrific experience!

It’s my second time coming to this location. The hostess is rude instead of apologizing for not paying attention to us , she has been rude all evening telling us ‘I thought you just standing near the entrance’. ‘ call us after you reserved so you could be served a table’ she definitely has an attitude and it’s only some examples. Got served wrong drink instead pink lady - the pink smoke. When asked why does it smell so bad - ‘because it’s mezcal in it instead of gin in correct drink.’ Barmen, hostess laughed in face instead of changing the correct drink. Came for a drink with friends, the worst experience I’ve had so far in area. Cocktail menu is not only expensive but also taste is truly gross. Crab hush puppies were burned.

Really wanted to love The Garrison, but it fell short. We went for my birthday. The atmosphere is great. I love the Christmas decorations and it felt cozy. They were busy, but seemed more than enough staffed, so I’m not sure what the issue was. Drinks took a really long time to come out (after the food). Most of the food was really good. We particularly enjoyed the poke nachos. But the broccolini side was so salty no one could eat it. It was the service we couldn’t get past. It started out decent. But it just progressively got worse. After starting out with one server, we were then told we would have two. Not sure why, they weren’t training. It ended up feeling disconnected and like we didn’t know who to ask for what (and they didn’t know who was doing what). After we finished our meals, no one cleared our table. Staff continually walked by without clearing plates, which we ended up just stacking ourselves to get out of the way. We sat with dirty plates on our table until we left. The checks were dropped off without even asking if we wanted dessert (and my husband had even mentioned we were celebrating my birthday). When the server dropped off our receipt after we paid, I said “thank you” and she just said “yep” and walked off. Not a thank you in return. Plates still sitting on the table. It was a strange experience. We may try it again sometime, but I definitely wouldn’t go back for a special occasion.

Anyone can take a reservation, but what’s the point of showing up on time if it takes 30 minutes to put your drink order in? It was faster to go downstairs to the bar and get drinks. It took over an hour to get our food and the burger was a hockey puck. The waitress apologized for the long wait times but what does that do for me? She said we’d be her priority after she gave us the checks then she started refilling our waters. Lady this goose is cooked, we won’t be returning thanks for the shishitos it was the only thing good about this place.

First time in my life getting food before drink (that’s not a good thing). 1 hour to get drinks. I don’t care if it is decorated for the holidays. Santa Claus himself couldn’t save this experience. This a ho-ho-horrible. I didn’t eat food but it looked okay minus the burger looked like a lump of coal from Santa’s bag. Waitress (Molly?) offered one person a free drink and no one else. The manager was downstairs on her phone (probably playing candy crush or whatever). This experience makes me not believe in the spirit of Christmas anymore. Put Garrison on your naughty list this season.

Excellent food, cocktails and service. Our server, Rachelle, was attentive, sharing a bit of history and lore about the property. Manager, Lauren, visited our table a few times and was also polite and attentive. Will definitely return.
I want to like this place. Our waiter was new but he was fantastic. Knowledgeable, patient, attentive (but not annoying). It's nice inside. But, I requested a low top- got a high top. Not the end of the world. My biggest issue (which is a big one) was the food and value. My friend and I shared our food- she ordered the pork chop (which was large!) but I found it to be raw in the middle and chewy/tough everywhere else. I ordered the short rib which was okay. The French fries weren't very good which was disappointing cause they look good. The Brussels sprouts tasted very ACV. I ordered a rum cocktail off the menu which was tasty but small. And at $14 each they should have been larger. All in it cost me (we paid our own checks) over $100 foot 3 drinks, a main dish and an $8 app. So again, just overpriced for mediocre food.
Rachel was our waitress and was absolutely delightful!!! Ask for her when you come here. And the food is amazing. Thanks rachel!!!!!

Terrific service, ambiance and the food was delicious! This was our first time and we will definitely be back soon!! PS-The Crab Hushpuppies are incredible!!!
The menu is fun and delicious and the cocktail selection sounds amazing but they struggled to get a dirty martini correct after 3 attempts. Still going to go back and bring my friends though

Had a great experience at The Garrison. Went on a Friday evening. Drinks were great. We had the Burratta appetizer and Crab Hushpuppies appetizers. Both were great. We shared the Scallops and Fish and Chips. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite. This is the 4th time we have been to The Garrison and we will definitely be back. We enjoy sitting in their upstairs section as it is a bit less lively but the atmosphere is still really inviting.
A quaint restaurant in Pineville with great food and amazing drinks. We kicked things off with a Perfect Gentleman, a Untitled Art NA beer and the baked raviolis. The raviolis were piping hot right out of the oven and very tasty. The Pimento Cheese BLT is a must! It's melt in your mouth buttery sourdough and fried pickles were fantastic! The Soccer Mom salad was light and flavorful. We'll definitely hit Garrison for a second round before we leave!

We had a great experience! They have unique great starters including the crab hush puppies and the tempura buffalo cauliflower. Additionally, they also had great drink options. Dinner entree were also very good and came out quickly and exactly how we ordered them. Our server was very attentive and always checked in on us.
