The Garrison Cocktail Bar & Restaurant

We really enjoyed our recent experience at The Garrison- it's been one of our favs. The menu is imaginative and dishes well executed. Wine and drink menus is very good. Love the ambience especially decorated for Christmas. Service was great.

I casually put on my online reservation that the special occasion was for my birthday. I did not expect anything but was treated so nicely and was given a complementary dessert. Overall amazing customer service, the atmosphere was cozy and decorative for the holidays. Food and drinks were great!

The food, Poke Bowl, Chicken with Asiago gnocchi, and salmon was all delicious and served promptly. We asked for a table upstairs because the bar area can get loud and we were entertaining a guest from out of town. Unfortunately there was a party of 8-10 women celebrating a birthday up there and they were literally screaming over each other which made our conversation difficult.

The Garrison is a hidden gem for those looking for a nice but not overly expensive dinner in South Charlotte or Ballantyne area. Their craft cocktails are consistently superb and the food is delicious! I have ordered several different dishes and all were excellent. Everyone in this place has a smile on their face. We will keep coming back.

Dinner with three other ladies on a Wednesday evening. Everything was excellent. Highly recommend.

It was our first time, we loved it on Friday and came back the next day , for the food and the vibes.

My shrimp and grits were the BEST!! I would highly recommend ordering it. Filet was great as well. Our server was awesome and timely! We sat upstairs and it was noisy up there, but I will definitely go to this restaurant again.

We have dined at The Garrison several times and every experience has been memorable. We really enjoy all aspects of this place. The decor, the wait staff and all the different menu items we've tried. Highly recommend!!

What a wonderful place to celebrate a birthday! We made reservations on advice from the reviews, the food was delicious, the service was very personable and attentive, and the atmosphere, though a little loud, was eclectic and beautiful. We'll be back!

My husband and I shared The Garrison Burger and fries, which was plenty for each of us. We started with the deviled eggs and the only problem was the whites were over cooked, everything else was good. Although quite overpriced for only two eggs, we had expected at least three or four eggs for the price. I did enjoy my sweet tea! We will definitely be returning the menu looks amazing. Our server Faith was wonderful.

We've been here twice recently. My wife and I dined upstairs and had a terrific time. Franklin took terrific care of us. Old fashioneds, short ribs and unicorn fish and wine were all amazing. This week, four of us had dinner on a Monday night. Made reservations for upstairs. When we arrived, the hostess asks if we'd prefer downstairs as upstairs was pretty quiet. We chose a table downstairs instead. Good choice. Our server, John, was friendly and attentive. He greeted us with menus and water and we all ordered a cocktail. They were great again. Shareables, wings and buffalo cauliflower and dinners (fish & chips) were spot on. The dinner wine and dessert finished a wonderful meal. C-ya soon!

Love the atmosphere and service was fantastic. Food was delicious. Great choice in wine and many fun cocktails! Definitely recommend!
