We had our rehearsal dinner here, and it was amazing! My mother in law worked closely with Lauren to plan this amazing night, and Lauren did an amazing job. Lauren was able to bring our ideas to life, and it went so well! The food was amazing, the staff out did themselves, and everyone loved it. I would highly recommend having a private event here and working with Lauren!

Nice atmosphere. Most of the chairs are pretty cozy if you're downstairs. Food is pretty good but nothing mind blowing. Price point is a bit high and i don't see myself returning to The Garrison as my first couch l choice if I'm spreading that kind of cash on an evening.
Our server was very nice but also seemed very much unfamiliar with the job. Service timing was awkward as drinks seemed to take longer than the app we ordered.

We had a wonderful experience at dinner at this restaurant. We were a party of eight with one who couldn’t do the stairs. When I made the reservation the woman was very understanding and specifically reserved the one table large enough for us downstairs.
Our server, Faith, was very friendly and personable.
The food was delicious.
I loved the historic space and the small downtown atmosphere.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Super cute! The yummy bites and tasty cocktails turned what was supposesd to be a quick drink with a girl friend into a fun night! We sipped on french martinis and snacked on buffalo cauliflower bite and tuna poke nachos. The atmosphere's chill vibes could have kept us chatting the night away. Overall I had a really good time, would definitely visit again!

Great service and excellent food are very rare in restaurants these days, but The Garrison has absolutely nailed both!!! From the minute we walked in we were pleasantly greeted. We were early for our reservation but by the time we got cocktails our table was ready. Sea scallops were fabulous!! Huge thanks to our server for finding my credit card and calling me and keeping it safe until I could get it the next day!!!

We have been to the Garrison once before and loved it. We decided on a whim tonight to eat there for dinner. They were able to seat us quickly at a great table without a reservation, which we greatly appreciated. The service was prompt and friendly enough but not super engaging (although it was busy and loud which, I’m sure, makes things difficult.) The atmosphere is gorgeous with great style and architecture. The food this time was sorely lacking, however. My kids ordered the burger and cheese was forgotten on my daughter’s. My husband and I ordered a burrata salad to split and had to ask for 2 plates and then split it ourselves. My scallops were raw and thus I had to send them back for a re-fire. My husband’s catfish was bathed in so much rich sauce it was almost inedible. Our drinks were never offered to be refilled, including water, and we were never offered a second round of drinks. Finally, after all of this, nothing was offered to make up for the raw scallops (they recooked the dish and the risotto was undercooked the second time but I didn’t have the heart or time to ask for a third try.) We really love the atmosphere and location and will likely give them another try, but I really worry about their longevity if tonight’s experience is reflective of the norm.

Excellent food and service!! Very reasonable prices. It is really loud though because it's an old building with high ceilings.
First time at your restaurant. Our waitress, Faith, was an absolute gem! My Cajun Catfish was wonderful. My wife's Fish & Chips were great other than the breading being a little salt heavy. The cocktails were spot-on. The service overall was courteous and attentive without being intrusive. Warm smiles all around. The only downsides were how greatly the noise level rose toward the end of the meal and how often the back of my wife's chair was bumped into by staff and guests alike. We still plan on returning for another delicious meal!
Love the vibe here, the food is so good and we have great service every time. Recommend a resy

My husband and I stopped by The Garrison for a casual drink, and we just loved the vibe in here. The interior strikes a beautiful balance between sophistication and charm--an emerald-tiled bar and charcoal countertops give it a sleek, upscale feel, while the exposed brick walls and antique ceiling tiles add warmth and historic charm.
The cocktail menu was just as impressive as the space. We tried The Pink Smoke, which came garnished with a lightly charred rosemary sprig that added a beautiful smokiness--both in flavor and presentation. We also ordered their Barrel-Aged Old Fashioned, which had a lovely depth thanks to the addition of chocolate bitters alongside the traditional orange and aromatic notes. Lastly, the Wild Berry Basil Refresher lived up to its name--it was crisp and cooling, though a touch tart for my taste.
Service was outstanding. Our bartender was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly took pride in the craft--making the experience feel even more special. He was also incredibly easy to talk to, we genuinely enjoyed his company.
If there was one downside, it would be the food menu. While the space is perfect for a cocktail and conversation, I found myself wishing they offered a few more finger foods or classic bar bites to pair with drinks. The current appetizer selection just didn't appeal to me.
Still, The Garrison is a gorgeous spot for a well-made drink and a relaxed, upscale evening. I'd definitely return--especially with friends or for a cozy date night.

Everything was excellent, drinks, food, service and atmosphere! We had the crab hushpuppies and scallops with mushroom risotto - both were fabulous!

This week they have a pan seared Unicorn fish over sweet & savory vegetables hash with fingerling potatoes, topped by a yellow pepper coulis. Chef kiss! I sat at the bar and Mary was awesome. You got to come in this week. The entire staff are rockstars.
