Authentic Mexican food prepared onsite from scratch. The food was excellent and the servers were kind and informative (shared history of chef and suggestions for ordering). We plan to return to try other dishes.
We had street tacos, chilaquiles, rice and beans. All delicious. The salsa needs to be improved. Too bland for us.

My origins are in the Southwest USA, so I am a connoisseur of Mexican cuisine. These ladies have roots in Central Mexico. Their food is exceptional, atmosphere is clean & authentic and the server was so very cordial!!! Highly recommend them. We will definitely return here.

Huge step up from the old building they were in! Everything was fantastic except the salsa! The salsa is lacking flavor and heat. But the rice and beans were by far the best I’ve ever had. The chicken tacos are my go to and wayyy better than some of your chain restaurants. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants authentic Mexican cuisine. Except the salsa lol

I got it to go and am not even done eating but have to write this review. THIS IS GO GOOD Y'ALL! Even the refried beans are delicious. This is REAL Mexican food that they make and it clearly isn't coming out of cans or the freezer like Mi Casita and is a whole lot better than El Cazador. The restaurant is super clean and the staff is very nice. I had to wait a little bit but it was definitely worth it, 100%. I'm telling everybody to go here.

Have been going to las plamas for years but since opening the new location it has been horrible. Tonight I had the last straw and will not be coming back. Ordered my daughters chicken tenders and rice and they ended up giving us chicken tenders and fries. I told one of the ladies that work there about it and our waitress basically said we didn’t say that. They gave us some rice but had the nerve to say they had to charge us for it because we already got the fries. No you messed up. Take my order back and give me what I asked for. Needless to say we will never be coming back and our waitress got a zero tip for basically calling us liars.
