The Mill At Puppy Creek

We used to love coming here to eat with friends and family. The menu was good and the staff looked so happy. Now, with the new ownership or management ( whichever it is ) and the menu change, it’s not very good anymore. Their mozzarella for example is just sliced straight from a block of cheese and is too messy to eat. It turns into one big glop and not very shareable. Taking of the Philly and the shrimp was a bummer too. Those were some of our favorites. It’s ok though, we wish them lots of growth, but I don’t think we will be returning.

Great, great, great!!! A must if you're in the area. Awesome gem literally tucked away by a creek. So picturesque. The inside is super cozy, very homey feel to it.
It was busy, and they were short staffed but mad up for it with deliciousness!
Great for the family, a date, or solo.
Highly recommend!

Quit adding so much salt to the food and it would be a lot better. Twice now the food was way over seasoned.

Just ate to there today 11/1/24 with me and my husband and extended family. There was a ROACH in my husband drink stuck to the glass. After we had already eaten some of the food we discovered this. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING and unsanitary. We brought it up to the waitress and were told there are new owners who are "dealing with the problem" so cleanly they are having a roach problem and told no one;
Not to mention our food took over an hour to come and it was only 3 sandwiches.
Never again; heath inspector needs to pay visit

The food never disappoints, and neither does the atmosphere. The service is great too. We ordered the mozzarella sticks. They should be called the mozzarella bricks (see photo). The cheese pull was wild and the flavor was off the charts! I ordered the grilled cheese with Brie, blackberry jam, and thick cut bacon. 1000/10 would recommend. My husband got the haddock and fries and he enjoyed the all around crunch and taste of his meal. This is our third of fourth time here and it's definitely not our last! We sat outside by the creek and we were surrounded by fall colors galore. Between the leaves gently falling, the water trickling in the creek, the slight breeze, and the comfort food, we found ourselves on the perfect fall date.

The Mill at Puppy Creek is a delightful find, combining rustic charm with a cozy atmosphere. Located along the creek, the setting is picturesque, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely meal. The food on the menu was very unique and delicious. I would highly recommend The Mill at Puppy Creek to anyone in the area!

One of my favorite places. Its such a pretty spot! Right on the water with perfect lighting. Great for a date night.
They have the BEST fried green tomatoes and strong drinks!! I highly recommend.

The atmosphere, service and just overall experience is always top notch. The new owners are so friendly and have such an inviting personality. This is always a date night option for us! 10 out of 10 recommend!!
