It's been a while since I got back this way, but I tell you what, the food is still as good as ever and the servers are just as friendly as ever. Once I knew i was going to Fayetteville, I had to stop back by for the best soul food around that area. I got my chittlins and rice with Mac and cheese and steamed cabbage. My God it is so good. The chicken wings weren't that good and the hush puppies tasted like they had garlic powder in them . It tastes a lot different from what I remember. The wait time is better after you order.
Listen to the locals! I loved the food we bought. Smothered chicken, chicken wings, hamburger steak,. Yams and cabbage were great as well. Mac and cheese was the best!!! I also got a meatloaf plate..... I didn't like that one. The 3 of us tried it and it was very heavenly salted and more of a mush it was falling apart and wet.
