I come to Randleman every couple of months from Texas and stay in Airbnb 2 doors down. These girls take good care of me, I call and ask “ what did you girls cook for me for dinner?” lol! They always say “something good!” Always satisfied!

Our food was good and the service was exceptional. After we got almost home I couldn’t find my phone and checked its location in my husband’s phone. It showed it as being at the Wild Onion. We returned to the restaurant and the lady was extremely helpful and concerned. She went out of her way to help me find it.
Try this restaurant and you won’t be disappointed.

Horrible experience. We've been several times and really enjoyed it, however this time was miserable. We sat down ordered drinks and food. Then proceed to wait. The table who sat 15 minutes after we did, got their food prior to us, and we orderd the same thing. We waited 50minutes for potatoe skins that were mediocre at best. Then another 20minutes for our meal. All while listening to the obnoxious music and gossip of the so called kitchen staff. Once we received our food parts were cold that shouldn't be cold, didn't meet menu description and had minimal flavor. Never Once were we asked how things were or any apologies for the wait.

We had not been here in a while and decided to do so again. We are so glad that we did. We were promptly introduced to our waitress, who was very polite, and explained the menu. Placed our order and we were pleased with the time it took to receive our food. OH THE FOOD!!’ So much delicious food. My wife had the pumpkin spice latte French bread, and I had the cinnamon oatmeal pancakes. Hot, and tasty. It was service by committee. Someone took our order, another brought the food, another checked to see if we needed anything, etc. the teamwork there is in full force. The price was right too. Such a great experience for us!

Homey atmosphere and nice seating on the patio. Our server was attentive, friendly, and personable. We liked that we got to try all the sides and didn't have to pick and choose. The hamburger soup was well-seasoned and very hearty. The steak was flavorful and tender, as was the pork loin. We will be back!

Drive past all the time on the way home from work and finally stopped for dinner. Waitresses are super friendly and the food is good southern comfort food. Sides are family style and plenty. Brought our dog with us with the patio being pet friendly and she got a doggy plate and bandana. Highly recommend if ya got the time!

6 friends, all new to this restaurant - let’s try Wild Onion. Waitstaff ensured knowing if this was our first time & it was. We were all amazed by finding a restaurant serving family style sides. I selected the breakfast nachos after changing mind from the fried mushrooms (and something else with which sounded delightful) - decisions decisions! At first I thought wasn’t going to be enough salsa, but it was perfect amount. The taters were good & had 2 slices of watermelon as well. The other friends mostly ordered the country style steak & oh! the family style sides ! Plus dessert choice ! I heard the blueberry cobbler dessert was delicious, however our timing was off as everyone else had selected as well & of the four ordered none was left & then finally one appeared at the table and bites were shared & joyful descriptions & must try were said. The peanut butter pie thoughts weren’t what we expected in our minds, but really good. Nothing like it touched my lips before.

Will have to come back for the fried mushrooms after days of wondering if I made the correct decision. LOL ! still thinking about the meal & experience of Wild Onion 4 days later. Hopefully, now finding the place & many Sundays after church, hoping to go back sooner than later.
