It depends on what foods you get to know if they're good or not. I recommend the sweet and sour chicken and any of the fried rices, especially the pork fried rice! The egg rolls are really good! The tea is, hands down, the most 🙌 👏 👌 excellent tea I have ever drank in my entire life! And being from Robeson County, we are tea drinking people! I buy anywhere from 10 to 20 teas per week @ $2 for a large cup and it's worth every penny! I don't know what they do to it but it has a hint of lemon that's subtle and it's breathtaking ✨️ 😍!!! Omgosh I cannot get enough of it! It's not the tea we drink from home or from a place like Fullers but it's superb!! I don't really suggest that anyone sit in to eat especially during the winter or you will freeze because they don't heat the building or dining area. I dont recommend the vegetable lo mein because it's all noodles and no veggies, even after you pay for the extra veggies!! It's ridiculous so after many arguments over veggies I just stopped ordering it there! Now if you want plenty of meat then the beef lo mein would be an excellent suggestion but I don't eat much meat! The plates are plenty big enough to share with someone! That's what me and my husband do always! We share every plate and we still have leftover food! I wouldn't suggest their mixed vegetable plate at all! The veggies are in some kind of slimy sauce! Yucky!! 🤮 The staff are as friendly as they know how to be with the language barrier. One thing I want to try that I haven't yet is their teriyaki chicken!
Vegetarian options: I don't really recommend any direct vegetarian options... tbh, I don't think they would understand that...
Dietary restrictions: After repeated attempts to tell them through the years about my allergies to celery, it took a while until they got it, but it was such a trial that I gave up as I said on even eating the vegetable lo mein anymore from their restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: This doesn't really apply... though kids can eat anything from the menu, there's no actual kids menu!
Wheelchair accessibility: Unsure if this applies either. I've never seen anyone in a wheel chair try to enter the restaurant. If someone was to enter, the tables are accessible for them to eat at one though no one really ever eats inside except the business owners...

Love this place, the food is authentic American styled Chinese. They can be rude but you know those rude ones are cooking some damn good food. Also the very tall chef looked crazy walking out of the kitchen. Looks like he could put a hurting on somebody. Food is great tho but not a place to go eat inside. Always get it for takeout. I recommend the orange chicken with pork lo mein.

I feel like this place is hit or miss. I have ate here the past couple of weeks. I have gotten three different combinations plates and have only liked one. The sesame chicken being the only one I’ve liked. I had the boneless spare rib plate and it lacked a lot of flavor and the rice smells like mildew. Then I had the beef and broccoli and the beef was way too soft for my liking soft to the point some was still pink. It also lacked flavor it was more like a gravy on the meat instead of a sauce like there was to much corn starch. The egg rolls are good the food physically looks good I just wish it tasted like it looked. They are fast when it comes to serve so that’s a plus
I started eating Chinese here when I was still in high school somewhere between 2003-2007 and I will not order or eat Chinese food from anywhere else. They're the absolute best Chinese I've eaten in probably a 50 mile radius around my house. So if you're in town and want the best sesame chicken, lo mein, fried rice, fried or honey spicy chicken wings etc this is the best place to eat it from

We usually eat here often but the quality has decreased immensely. For example, recently items that usually have white chicken meat suddenly have dark chicken without telling us that they had to substitute or change it. My most recent order I got the wonton soup. Tiny dice size portions of pork wrapped up in two wontons each. I suspect to make it look fuller that it was. The broth was extremely oily and difficult to eat. Instead of cutting corners, it'd be better if the prices just increased some. It will definitely be a while before I come back.
I will never eat here again , they gave me food poison, ,, on July 20 2023

I went with my nephew and we ordered sesame chicken, and general tso chicken. The guy at the counter spoke very little English. When we got home, we had coconut chicken I think, and general tso. The egg rolls were good, but the plate was inedible for both us!! The fried rice wasn't fresh, and the "chicken" had a soft spongy coating around it. The sauce it was in was indescribable ?. I would not recommend this to anyone!.
Hong Kong has been in Red Springs for years, same location. They have good food, my favorite is General Tso’s Chicken. Service is always the same and they are nice people.
