Stopped at the Chester’s Chicken inside the Love’s on Barnes St and ordered the 3 piece chicken tender meal with wedges. The chicken tenders were excellent I bit into one and it practically exploded with juices. Easily one of the best tenders I’ve had at a travel stop. The wedge portion was pretty small, served in a small bag that only fit about four wedges. The biscuit was dry and a little hard, which was the main letdown. That said, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the chicken itself was outstanding. If they improved the sides a bit, this would be an easy 5-star stop.

I stopped here on Christmas Eve with a flat tire and left here filled with the Christmas spirit. The store was clean and well kept. All the food was fresh and looked real delicious. But the real magic was the three young ladies behind the counter who were real friendly and we're nice enough to point me in the direction of a good local tire shop. I came in feeling defeated and left with a full stomach and a renewed optimism for my trip. The food was good and fresh and I felt better thanks to those young ladies and their infectious good spirt and great customer service.

Chicken is okay. Wish they had grilled liver and gizzard options
This is one of those chesters that they cut the chicken in half but not the price. One of the pieces of chicken I got was so rubbery my dog couldn't even eat it. She is a 6-month old 60 lb puppy. She is a Cane Corso. It wasn't burnt it was rubber. They only give you one side with your meal with no drink. Or a drink with no sides with your combo. They want to cut everything in half but They don't want to cut that price in half. I am actually flagging this loves on my GPS so I know not to stop here again.

The gentleman that served me was nice and polite but please do not get this chicken I should of went to McDonald’s…this chicken taste like light bulb that it was sitting under smelled like old grease biscuit was so hard couldn’t eat that if I tried …mashed potatoes my stomach wouldn’t let me eat them immediately got upset stomach after 2 bites of potatoes…after I had a few bites of the chicken I started sweating and had nightmares all night ….man never again ….
