Can’t figure out why more people don’t come here. Only one way to go…the Monroeton Monster. You will not have to eat for the rest of the day. The best breakfast you can get. Perfectly cooked potatoes and sautéed peppers. Home made biscuit with sausage gravy. Farm fresh eggs over easy are perfectly cooked and the yolk is runny all the way thru. They put some cheese and butter on the grits and it’s impossible not to eat everything even when you feel like you’re about to bust.

The only shameful thing here is to give another 5 star review that they deserve that people don’t see and think “gee is it really that good?” Yes. Yes it is.

BTW, also got some homemade pimento cheese to take home. Uncle Chris’s is good, but Homesteads? Next level tasty.

Absolutely delicious! My 3 year old toddler and I stopped in for breakfast and he ate almost an entire plate of eggs, bacon and sausage and a whole bacon biscuit. The portions were generous but it was so “nummy” he kept asking for more and more. Highly recommed the biscuits and the jelly and the sweet tea. So good!

So excited we got to try Homestead Kitchen today! Friendly staff, inviting atmosphere and THE BEST breakfast. We ordered the Monroeton Monster breakfast plate and the Swineherder omelet and both were DELICIOUS! We’re already planning a return trip as soon as possible.❤️

Absolutely loved my visit here. Great food and the cutest little shop area. A true treasure in Reidsville.

The pulled pork, brisket and particularly the pork belly/pork loin sandwich were fantastic. Very fairly priced and wonderfully friendly service as well. A great family run restaurant that is well worth the drive!

Food was absolutely great couldn’t say anything more about it, but was confused when I asked about adding a tip. considering you place your order as you walk in, seat yourself and basically wait on yourself. Just a very different situation, but not to take away from the food.

Incredibly cozy crountry restaurant on the side of a three way intersection, this place feels dreamy. Ordering is done starbucks style where you place your order, pay and pick a table or sit in the booth. Absolutely would recommend.

Are you looking for healthy, tasty, elevated home cooking? This is your place. I had the vegetable soup which was fresh and savory, corn, tomatoes, squash, collard greens, Black eyed peas....and more. The BLT was piled with bacon and fresh tomatoes on crispy bread. My only regret is that this place is about 200 miles from my home. (Note they are only open on Fridays and Saturdays.)

You'll experience comforting warmth and thoughtfulness as you soon as you walk in the door. Delicious, fresh food expertly prepared and exceptional, personal service. A local gem that's also well worth a drive. Highly recommended.

The food was good but the service and setup of the place is strange. There were two of us and we sat at the first table to the right. We ordered and paid upfront which I initially thought was a little strange as it appeared to be a sit down restaurant. We were served our food and coffee but the coffee creamer and sugar were at the other end of the restaurant and when we got our food we were told that the utensils and napkins were near the same place as the creamer and sugar station and we had to get them ourselves. It was a busy Saturday morning and I had to maneuver my way between other people eating in order to grab these things.
