Some of the best food in the area. Almost everything is made-from-scratch on their superb menu combing classic southern fare with culinary ingenuity. After eating a meal here it is immediately clear the owners are not only first-rate culinary chefs but artists who have a passion for the food they create. I encourage anyone who visits Rockingham county to add this humble diner to the top of their itinerary, it is truly a cut above the rest.

The breakfast was cooked perfectly enjoyed the cheese eggs and hashbrowns. The only drawback is they don't take debit cards so bring cash lol.

Seemed like a decent place to eat but was quickly disappointed. Came in a few minutes after 11am expecting to get breakfast but was told they are not serving breakfast so i went somewhere else. Hopefully they will consider extending their breakfast hours or atleast post the times they stop serving so that people can make an informed decision before traveling there.

It’s an old-fashioned, friendly American restaurant.
The waitresses are awesome, the cook is great and I cannot recommend it enough!

If you are in the area, I highly recommend Mom’s Kitchen for breakfast! Food was incredible! The pancakes were the fluffiest and most delicious pancakes I’ve ever had. The sausage and gravy were tasty and a huge portion. Our waitress was attentive and very personal. She made our experience the highlight of our day. And the sweet tea was just amazing!

Mom's Kitchen is a casual place with good home cooking & chill atmosphere. I frequently get the blueberry pancakes & sausage patties which are good, since I'm oftentimes in there for breakfast but they have solid lunch options as well.

My food was fair. I ordered country style steak, mashed potatoes and fried apples. I wouldn’t ordered any of these things again. I would not be opposed to going back in the future but would definitely order something different.
I only ate a few bites of each and decided not to take my leftovers out.

Local diner with a large selection of breakfast options. I had the biscuits (2) and sawmill gravy and added scrambled eggs. The biscuits are homemade which I appreciate. My husband had sunny side up eggs, bacon, grits, biscuit and added sawmill gravy. He said it was very good. Especially the grits. Highly recommend. Be advised that they do not accept cards. Cash or check only. There is an ATM available inside if you do not often have cash.
