I used to eat here with my grandparents as a kid on Sundays after church. They were regulars. I went back today after years of missing the place. It was fantastic as always. The food was on point, the staff was friendly, atmosphere hadn't changed a bit and brought back so many memories. Will definitely start making the drive to make the memories with my children here. ❤️

I was passing through Reidsville and saw this cute little restaurant. It was so cute…a bit like going back in time. It has been around since the 1920’s! The staff was SO NICE and extremely attentive. The food was amazing! I ordered an omelette and it was out of this world. The veggies were so fresh! And the sausage was delicious. This did not disappoint. If you are in Reidsville you have to go to Sanitary cafe! You will not be disappointed! Also, this is a cash only establishment. But don’t worry, they have an ATM in the premises for your convenience.
A staple in Reidsville NC! We stopped in on a Saturday at lunch. They serve breakfast all day as well. My husband got the Big Country breakfast and everything on it was good. My country style steak was well seasoned with gravy that was on time! Mashed potatoes were adequately seasoned, okra was crispy and baked apples were very good. Hush puppies were some of my favorites.
Service took a minute to get to us, but it looked like everyone had all come in at the same time. Otherwise she was attentive but not bothersome. Kept our glasses fulland made sure we had everything we needed.
Don't miss this place if you're passing thru!
