Went to just get BBQ sauce and stood there for 30 mins before anyone would acknowledge me. Poor service, emplyees nobbing out. I wouldn't never good back.

Now that you really don't know if they are open or not- maybe they should start changing the things that has their business less frequently. Fries are terrible/hot or cold/amount of BBQ on a sandwich about half of what it used to be/buns are always soggy on BBQ/hotdogs/burgers- whoever is running Short Sugars does seem to be trying to destroy a Landmark- People eat there and complain among friends and family about the smaller portions and lack of quality- just my observation

Had to give a star to be able to post we set there for hour without even being acknowledged being their so we left and went to a different restaurant

The Danville spot was the one I grew up on. They had “Hot slaw” looooved that slaw. I need someone to get me a recipe. Definitely eat at short sugars

This place is not what I thought it would be, very disappointed in the food. No bbq at a BBQ restaurant is crazy. The server was great, but that's not enough for me to come back.

I have loved SS for years!! Really wish they would open back up in Danville...
Can't go wrong with BBQ or ribs. Simple atmosphere and really nice people.

Went there after work for dinner and was closed! Who the heck closes for dinner crowd? New hours have it closed after 5pm permanently. Very disappointed

Great historic NC 'cue. Generous portions of great meat and nice sides.
Friendly staff, efficient while nicely busy. Worth the visit!

Drove all the way there from Danville and got there around 730pm on a Saturday to see that they closed around 2 we think by the sign on the door. Need to update Google with your times.

They were freaking closed at 4pm

I recently visited Short Sugars in Reidsville and had a great experience. Upon entering, I was greeted with a warm smile by a friendly staff member who promptly asked how she could assist me. After a brief wait, she served me a delicious meal of a pulled pork sandwich, hush puppies, and fries. The welcoming atmosphere and quality service made my visit truly enjoyable. Highly recommend!
