Pretty cool little spot I've never heard about before. We got to sit on the outside deck by the docks. The sweet potatoe waffle fries were the best I've ever tasted with some apple butter sweetness for dipping. Amazing, the brisket sandwich was very good with the slaw, it was a little dry and a little light on the taste. Beers were ice cold I mean ice. Overall a 7.5 out of 10. Had some locals dropping f-bombs watching the game but apologized afterwards. I will try it again for sure

I just got home from Copper Penny which is about 5 minutes from where I live. I arrived just before 11:30 am and left just after 12:00 pm. I went to the bathroom, went to the bar, ordered a bourbon, was given a menu, and was never spoken to again until I got up to leave at noon. I still had to pay for my bourbon and I left a tip because it's the right thing to do, but now I am out $15.33 and I've had one bourbon and no lunch. Zero stars.

Never even got to try the food the place was very dirty and all I could hear was the the workers talking about working at a strip club and cussing so me and my family got up and left will never come back.

Waitress was nice, food not so much. Their lobster roll didn't have any lobster in it that I could tell, mostly imitation crab/lobster meat and a small piece of shrimp. The wife didn't enjoy the French duo either. You think a restaurant on the water would have a better fish/seafood selection on their menu. Not a fan anymore.

First off, I liked the story of how the establishment came to be. We were hopeful it would be a nice place to come for a steak dinner and sit by the lake. That didn't seem to work out that way for us. The waitress was great though! I wish we could say that about the food. We ordered Fillet Mignon and Prime Rib. Neither of them resembled or tasted as such. I did ask for the Fillet to be well done, but it had no moisture in it at all, and tasted like rancid liver. The Prime Rib was the consistency of a well done pork chop. Not juicy, or tender at all, and certainly wasn't like any cut of Prime Rib we've had before. And the corn on the Cobb looked very unappealing and not fresh at all! The Salad was really fresh and enjoyable. The ranch was better than the bleu cheese dressing (a little too much mayo and not creamy). The homemade chips were very burnt tasting. The French fries were nice and crispy and very good. The waitress was kind enough to take the Fillet Mignon off the bill. We were too embarrassed to let them know we didn't enjoy the Prime Rib either, but I'm sure she noticed since we only took one bite out of it. We wish this establishment as lot of success. It just wasn't for us.

the prime rib night is our go to
Sat outside at the bar overlooking the lake. Great monthly apple drink. Food and appetizers was excellent.
