Stopped in Today. 10-12-2023. 4pm.Wonderful find. Old school Grille. I ordered a Bacon CheeseBurger Crinkle Fries. ManOMan. Let me tell ya. SOME KINDA OF GOOOOD. BEST BURGER I'VE HAD IN 20 YEARS. SWEET TEA....AWESOME ? APPLE DUMPLINGS ? ? ?. Breakfast til 11am, Open 5am, 8pm. Amazing ?

Our waitress was very friendly and attentive to our needs/questions. Fajita quesadilla, chicken fajitas and nachos were good, as well as chicken plate with brown rice, squash, zucchini, onion. Hamburger was plain, not much flavor and bacon on BLT was tough. Restaurant smelled like smoke. Nice people, good prices!
Hubby and I stopped in for an early light dinner. I had an incredible grilled cheese with bacon and tomato. Amazing!!!Hubby had a cheeseburger (made from scratch), side of perfectly cooked fries and homemade German chocolate cake fir dessert.Server was friendly and on top of everything. We will definitely return and also hope to stop for breakfast in the near future.Clean, fair prices, friendly atmosphere and wonderful food. Highly recommend! ?

This place is horrible. Not only were the people horribly rude but they completely messed up our order which they knew and asked us to “pick out what we didn’t want”. We asked for it to be remade and they informed us we would have to wait over an hour for it to be fixed because they were backed up and it would go to the back of the orders. We said that wasn’t acceptable because we had already been waiting 45 min for the first order. So they said they would redo it after being extremely rude. After waiting another 25 min we asked for a refund. They argued with us about that and then the food finally came up and we left. The food wasn’t even great to begin with! I would not recommend this place at all. The owner was the rudest of all.

I took a short road trip to check this local place out. It seems to be a family run place but I don't know that for sure. It has true retro elements. It isn't decorated to be retro. It actually is. The food was nice and cooked to my order. They do have Mexican and American. They had a radio on which was playing nice stuff from Clapton, the Doors, the Cars, etc. That is a huge plus over country. Anyway the place seems to have a local clientele and I could actually see a Davie Bowie or a Robert Plant video being filmed here.
Best hashbrowns in Stanly County! The bacon was good and meaty too. Friendly service.
