I completely understand. This is not a Bob Evans even before I grab the food. But it’s exactly what I was looking for a little bit of a greasy spoon. Non-chain restaurant. Food is always good. Menu, you can be a little confusing.
When its good, its good. The breakfast is pretty consistent. The lunch is a gamble. One day it's cooked to perfection and sometimes it's a waste of money. My lunch favorites are trout, yams, & cabbage.
Ordered tenderloin and gravy and received just a piece of fried tenderloin with no gravy. The tenderloin was very thin and tough, but was seasoned well. The eggs were good. I didn't eat the biscuit, because I thought I was going to have gravy.
