Chipotle Mexican Grill

Don’t go to this Chipotle!
1. Arrived and they told me they were out of white rice (6pm in the evening?!)
2. Barely any brisket in the tray, and it looked like it had been sitting a while
3. Place was not clean or kept up
That was my first and last time there and I love Chipotle, just not this one

I saw the reviews before coming here was a little worried. But it’s just a normal chipotle. It’s got better rice than normal.

I would’ve put 0 stars if i could. This is consistently the worst restaurant in Roanoke rapids, from the staff closing early, to the the subpar food quality, to the constant lack of menu items. I am unsure how this franchise is still open in this location as I’ve personally seen several instances where the health department would shut the doors. For example last night I walked in at 9:55 pm to order a burrito, the store wasn’t empty the one staff at the location was making a bowl for a customer from containers, not a normal sight however i was disgusted by the cleaning supplies open being used only feet away from where the bowl was being made. I don’t know how anyone is still serv safe certified at this location. I would recommend closing this location or getting a whole new staff this isn’t it.

This location never has all the ingredients they are always out of something. They close up early all the time. (The doors are open but everything is put away & all you smell is cleaning supplies)
I went yesterday but didn’t order because the food was already put up and you could smell the cleaning solution the food is too expensive to maybe have bleach or cleaning solution splashed on my food because y'all want to go home at exactly 11pm. It’s hard enough to eat in this town passed 9pm without all this nonsense.

Definitely a big change from the last time I visited...the young gentleman was extremely pleasant and gave good size portions.All of the fixings looked fresh and more were cooking on the grill. Everyone was working hard and very attentive.

The staff is so rude here it’s ridiculous. I don’t even have the words to describe my experience, would rate it 0 stars if I could.

i’m vegan so i go to chipotle frequently, but when i decided to stop at one on my very long road trip, i was at first skeptical seeing how poorly this one was rated. although, i ended up pleasantly surprised. we ordered through doordash pickup and are food was ready just in time. the staff was extremely friendly. the restaurant (and women’s bathroom) were spotless. the food was hot and very well portioned. overall i have nothing bad to say about this place, and i am very disappointed in the bad reviews. if this place was once before not up to terms, take my word for it that they have gotten onto the right track. thanks for a wonderful experience! :)

Only reason I left 1 star was because you have to. The absolute worst Chipotle in the east coast. What food they do have is dried up, and they don’t replace the missing items. Need to shut down, or have someone is place that will run this establishment properly.

Chipotle is not the same as the used to be, the portions are very poor, they lost the taste of the meat, and now is very expensive.

I was so excited to hear they opened a Chipotle in Roanoke Rapids, but was thoroughly let down, and ultimately disgusted by my experience there.

While a couple staff members said hello to me, everyone was kind of doing their own thing, and it took some time to get to where someone would take my order. Had that been my only issue, I’d have let it go, but it got worse. Multiple containers of food were low and not refreshed, and there was no pricing on the menu. The chicken container had 3/4 of a scoop left in it, and that’s what they served me. They didn’t bring out any fresh chicken, or supplement the price despite the container being low. Instead, I paid over $12 for a half served burrito.

And, oh, the pricing… I get that in Joe Biden’s America inflation ticks up daily, and that the country is falling to hell, but really? $12 for a half served burrito the size of my fist? Come on! The last time I ate at a Chipotle restaurant I got a bigger burrito for half that price — and it wasn’t but a couple years ago!

Lastly, I go outside to eat, and as I get about half way into the sorriest Chipotle burrito I’ve ever had, I find a big dark curly hair in my food.

I should have looked at the reviews before going inside. As you can see, this place isn’t doing to well with customers, and likely won’t be around much longer — which might be a good thing. It’s sad to see a brand like Chipotle not hold their franchisees accountable. I won’t be coming back.
