I so wanted this to be good. The jerk chicken was steam table quality, not fresh off the grill. The flavor was poor. They didn't even have plantains.
Just mac & cheese.

Best Jamaican food I've tasted cause this would be my first time tasting this thanks to my husband and I love it

Dem food nuh authentic not real and they are not Jamaican they American using Jamaican name and not selling real Jamaican food it’s water down very water down and dat is a embarrassment to Jamaican country they need to shut this down poor everything and food truck very unhealthy and unstable

I read these reviews and let me say HILLARIOUS......lived her a while n finally decided to try it...ordered ox tails,rice n peas , cabbage ,and mac...IVE WORKED ALL OVER THE US AND HAVE ESTIN JAMAICAN FOOD EVERYWHERE.....this place is terrible....ox tails very very mediocre seasoned...rice n peas tasted like plain rice with a can of beans...cabbage was dripping grease and i swear the mac had kraft in it...yall stop lien to these ppl n keep it real...31$ wasted on a SMALL plate of TRASH FOOD...but ive also noticed most of the reviews are left by white ppl 🤣🤣🤣

We loved it! Truck came to the Timber Waters Brewery in Littleton NC. Had the BBQ Jerk Chicken over rice, cooked cabbage and delicious plantains (tasted Like they had been grilled in brown sugar and butter. So good!) everything was delicious! Wishing this food truck much success!

This place doesn't exist in the location stated. Phone wasn't answered so I never found the place.

the people ahead of us got a refund for finding a screw in thier food. our food looks dry, does not come with what is advertised but we still have to pay full price? This is the food truck in colonial heights. don't waste your money. the severs don't even look like they want to be there.

1st time going & I enjoyed the food. I always try my best to support black owned business when I can and I heard about this spot and I decided to take my money to them and I wasn't disappointed. Will be going back again soon? I only wished they didnt run out of desserts. I wanted to try everything i could, but ill try again next time. I would 10 out of 10 recommend ?

Maybe they move the location of the truck and didn't update their website, but I went two days in a row and their truck wasn't there and this was about 6:00 p.m. was looking forward to giving it a try but after 2 attempts I'm giving up. Update to review. They've been out of town and will be back in April. They reached out to me and I look forward to giving them a try. I come through this town once a week or once every other week on business. Look forward to meeting you guys

The woman who took my order actually discouraged me from ordering more than I did. Her exact words were "I don't want to take any more of your money." One star is being too nice...zero would be more appropriate. And the food was extremely disappointing.

Best food at the 2022 VA State Fair by far. Their j*** chicken was especially excellent! It was perfectly seasoned so that each bite was packed full of flavor. Very authentic! I definitely recommend anyone and everyone go check them out near the Horticulture Pavilion! This was their 1st time at the VA State Fair and I sure hope they come back next year.

Man working grumpy, bad customer service and communication. Ordered rice and beans on Sun 7/24/22 at 7:15pm. Received order shortly after. It was a container of rice with 4 beans. I had never been before so I went back thinking he forgot beans. He took my Styrofoam container back and said he'd get me more. He handed my order back and it had 7 beans in it. I was disappointed. Rice tasted good. This is deceiving. Just say rice flavored with beans if you can't have half & half. Poor service. Poor food. Needs attention. 1 star because food was hot.

I know true, authentic Jamaican Food and this is not it! Pay to much for not enough food that is not that good. I wish the other Authentic Jamaican truck would come back.
