Hilton Garden Inn Roanoke Rapids

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience deserves attention. The hotel rooms were outdated and poorly maintained and Customer service was practically nonexistent. The worst part? Our event was completely derailed by the sales department’s lack of coordination and professionalism. When trying to escalate the issues, management was nowhere to be found. No follow-up, no accountability. This wasn’t just a bad experience —it was a failure on every level. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere, especially if you're planning a group event or conference.

Do not stay here. This hotel is bug infested...does not service their rooms, the patios are covered in bird droppings and the pullout beds are broken. When you bring this to management they offer to move you to another room, just as bad as the 1st and then offer only half ur fee rather than comping the room. I have been an HHONOR member for 15 years and this is the worse Hilton property I have ever been aware of. FIND ANOTHER PROPERTY DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Good for a single nights rest.Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was just as clean as well. Staff was kind and friendly with any interactions we had. Can’t complain about it for a single nights break.

Worst place ever!! Stains/holes in carpet, mold growing in shower, sleeper sofa broken, sheets dirty. Fridge didn’t work! Not friendly, the whole 4th floor smelled like weed. I’m a Hilton honors member and I have never stepped into a Hilton this bad before.

Staff was horrible, uncaring, and seemed to not care with issues that I had.

I can't bring myself to give any hotel restaurant a 5-star rating, but this one is close. It's undoubtedly one of the best places in Roanoke Rapids. The salmon, the ribs (though fried instead of slow smoked), and all the sides were excellent. They don't have the service side down pat yet, but everyone was very pleasant. Won't hesitate to eat here again.

A surprising delight

Ate grilled salmon with sautéed yellow squash and red peppers and mashed / smashed potatoes. Food was flavorful. Chef came out to ensure I was satisfied. After I told him it was well seasoned and excellent - he asked the waitress to give me a dessert on him. That was unexpected. After I had left I realized he had a tip jar which meant the fat tip I had left with the bill wouldn’t be shared with him. I went back and left a $5 but none of the cooking staff or chef saw me do so. Worth a visit. I told the chef travelers never know if ‘hotel food’ will be good and I was so tired I would have eaten it even if it weren’t tasty but it was.?

Nothing like ordering food an hour before your kitchen closes and finding out it was never made and the staff has left for the evening. Should have zero stars for zero food

Service was great and food was good but has limited options. It is great when you check in late in the evening and the restaurant is still opened.
