Road trip stop. Very friendly staff, nice table on the patio. An extremely nice older lady took our order and provided excellent service. Try the house salad, it is the best I've had anywhere. I had the 10oz NY strip, which was very good but next time I will get the prime rib. My partner had it and said it was excellent. It sure looked good. Generous sides as well. Spotless bathrooms. Parking was crazy but we got a spot. Definitely worth a stop.

Ordered 8oz filet medium rare and it came out medium rare. However, the flavor and the tenderness were not there. Baked potato was old and onion rings overcooked. To have the word steakhouse in the name of the place, you would think it would be a better steak place.

I have eaten here twice while traveling. The service and atmosphere are good. The steak and salad are good. The baked potatoes are not good.
The baked potatoes are overcooked and dry. When I add the sour cream and butter to the baked potato, I can't mash it up because the potatoes have been baked for too long.

Haggerty’s Steakhouse is a must-stop whether you’re heading north or south on 95! Great atmosphere, super friendly service, and fantastic food all around. The “dinner” salad could be a meal by itself—crisp and fresh. Steak was cooked to perfection, shrimp tasted straight off the barbecue, and even the veggies were delicious (and I never finish those!). Prices are unbeatable compared to Jersey. Can’t recommend it enough!

This is a great place to eat when stopping in Roanoke Rapids. We stopped in to eat after a busy day at the lake and the overall experience was very pleasant. Me and my wife ordered ribeyes and they were great. 10/10 for sure.
