The hamburger steak with onions, cabbage, and mashed potatoes is hands down my favorite, it tastes just like home. They also serve bologna sandwiches and chicken salad that are absolutely delicious! My only complaint is that they're closed on weekends and Mondays. Since I work far from home, it's tough to catch them open unless I'm off or get off work early. I love Joes to go!! Best drive thru in Roanoke Rapids! They have never gotten my order wrong, if I ask for three of their amazing honey mustards they aren’t forgotten like most restaurants in the area. The staff are all very nice and efficient. I always get the chicken tender platter and it has never disappointed!
Good food from a reliable local business. Fair prices, good portions, and a friendly staff. Well worth the visit if you find yourself downtown or don't want to another subpar burger from a franchise.
