Picked this location for a half way meeting point for family members to celebrate my mother’s 89th. birthday. We were a party of 19 and I must say the waitress took very good care of us. It was about 2 pm when we arrived and they weren’t very busy so we were able to get the perfect seating area. The food was very good and large portions. The celebration turned out perfectly for my mother so thank you all for making this a memorable day for us!….

Upon arriving here on a Friday and noon, there was only one other vehicle here, which suprised me. The restaurant was overall clean, the waitress was friendly, however the service was slow. I ordered the mayflower fried basket, the scallops where great, the stuffed crab pretty good, the fried oysters were mushy with an odd taste. The blooming onion was delicious. The stuffed shrimp tasted like they had been frozen, thawed then refrozen, the loaded baked potato was amazing though.

We hadn't been in a long time. Have to say, food was delicious. Fresh, hot, and PLENTY of it. Had the flounder, she had shrimp and catfish. Cooked perfect. Golden brown, flakey. Not greasy. Very good. Will definitely go back.
