Steamed bread is the best. Chili burgers are a little sloppy but amazing. Best fries in eastern nc!

My family LOVES this place. This is a childhood memory and I'm 60 plus. Love it so much we ate here twice in the 22 hours we were in town. Hamburgers and hotdogs fully dressed are the best I've ever had. Can't find anything like them anywhere. Only thing that's changed since I was a kid is the seating.

I spoke with the owners, who were very friendly and provided some helpful information about the area.
I highly recommend this place for a nice, down-home meal at a very reasonable price!

I first ate here 57 years ago when it was across the street. Had to stop by when I was in town. Got a full dress hotdog a full dress cheeseburger order a fries and a Pepsi. Make sure you take cash because they do not take credit cards

Was way too crowded when our realtor tried to bring us here before which was a pretty good sign it was going to be ok. We were able to get in today more easily. It was a great quick lunch. I had the club sandwich, my husband had the cheeseburger, and we had fresh, hot crinkle cut fries. They only take cash but have an ATM.
