I reviewed Cagles Diner 5 years ago in their previous location. At that time, I had the Cheesburger Steak and French Fries. I said it was the best hamburger steak around. I gave them ***** stars. Five years later, I must admit it's a lot different. I gave them *** stars for my last three visits which I've not been satisfied. The service is great. The atmosphere isn't that much different in their current location than the previous owners. But the food is lackluster....
The food is excellent and the price is very affordable. The atmosphere is amazing. You can go here and the place is packed. You won't find a cell phone in sight, just people enjoying each other's company.
Most incredible cheeseburger you'll ever sink your teeth into!
Always great service and friendly staff. Cagles is one of those special favorites that I'll drive far out of my way for any day!
