Went there 1x. The only thing that was decent was a crab cake that was so small. French fries ; I asked were they like the ones you could get for a $1 she said yeah. Never eat there food was lousy

There's always some reason why you can't sit down and eat at this place. Might as well close. Sad thing is it's the only seafood restaurant in Rockingham besides captain Ds if you call that a restaurant.

Placed a to-go order, my first time with this restaurant. I've lived here for 6 years and never knew it existed (only found out by doing a Google search). A new sign would make a world of difference, I drove by it several times. The food was ready when I arrived, the young woman was very friendly and the food was very good. The next time I'll dine in and possibly add an additional star.

The food is sooo very good but the building needs updating bad. Entry and restrooms are a disaster. With such delicious food how is the appearance not important?

It's not the prettiest place in town but the food is really good, so who cares. Great catfish, not greasy, excellent coleslaw I could eat there again & again.
Oh & best hushpuppies I've ever had...seriously, yum!!

No tea, flat soft drinks and our waitress needs to find another profession. She acted like she didn’t want to wait on us, she brought our food and walked off. I asked another waitress for A1, napkins etc our waitress came back when we stopped eating to ask if we wanted our ticket. She is definitely not waitress material.

I had my first experience at Captain George’s tonight. Everything I had in food was delicious and the staff stayed on top of the cleanliness, supply and needs of all customers. It was pricy but worth every dime in my opinion. The decor and atmosphere was fitting. The staff were friendly and polite. If I could have changed anything would have been to have access to oysters and lobster tails.

Can't say much about the salad other than the croutons tasted like old grease. The Calabash shrimp should have been listed as Calabash shrimp pieces, didn't find a whole shrimp in the entire order. The fried flounder was so thin it was almost like a wafer. The grilled salmon was hard and dry. The two at the table who had french fries took one bite and left the rest. The waitress was pleasant and did her job well. The cashier asked how everything was and when I replied TERRIBLE she mumbled sorry, with an Oh Well attitude, handed me my change and never made eye contact. Won't be going back

Myra was our server. The best buffet service we have ever had. We do carnivore diet. This place suited our dietary needs perfectly!We will be back!
