Fast, excelent, friendly service with great food and reasonable prices. Had the fresh flounder special. Was well prepared and filled me up. Wife had the regular chicken salad on a croissant combo and it was more than she could eat. We always look forward to eating there.

Henry is one hard working gent. From what I observed, he was the only cook and waiter in the small restaurant layout, yet the food was prepared and delivered just fine. Located across the street from a free public parking lot, there is an abundance of parking both in the lot and at curbside. Try it for near home style cooking and reasonable pricing.

We are traveling to VA and came to eat, but they were closed. There is no reason listed on the door. We found another place to eat, but we're looking forward to trying it.

SUNDAY morning I could find nowhere in Cheraw, Hamlet, or elsewhere in Rockingham, to dine-in homemade-style fresh diner food of such high quality as Henry's Uptown Cafe. Chain; brand name fast food & other restaurants are comparatively, sub-par. Henry's offers organic open range fresh eggs, freshly-made meats, and sides. Service is timely, knowledgeable, [Southern Hospitality] courteous, and pleasant.
Food was good, service was amazing Brandi was my waitress and she was absolutely amazing if you go I highly recommend asking for Brandi. But Henry treats his employees horrible.
