Henry is one hard working gent. From what I observed, he was the only cook and waiter in the small restaurant layout, yet the food was prepared and delivered just fine.
Located across the street from a free public parking lot, there is an abundance of parking both in the lot and at curbside.
Try it for near home style cooking and reasonable pricing.

SUNDAY morning I could find nowhere in Cheraw, Hamlet, or elsewhere in Rockingham, to dine-in homemade-style fresh diner food of such high quality as Henry's Uptown Cafe.

Henry's offers organic open range fresh eggs, freshly-made meats, and sides.
Service is timely, knowledgeable, [Southern Hospitality] courteous, and pleasant.

Had the fresh flounder special. Was well prepared and filled me up. Wife had the regular chicken salad on a croissant combo and it was more than she could eat.
We always look forward to eating there.
