This was my first time at Jesse's. I had heard good things about this place, so I decided to check it out. First impression, I didn't know the place was a restaurant. I'm not sure what the building was prior but the building is dated, however they keep it clean. All food is made to order, which is a plus. Hot and fresh always is a plus to me. I ordered a cheesesteak and fries. It was delicious. I ordered the 10" lunch special. It was very filling. I only ate half and ate the rest for an afternoon snack. I will definitely be back.

While travelling through, we heeded the advice of the other review and looked past the skechy exterior, and we disregarded our instinct to leave when "greeted" by the server wearing a shirt in big bold letters B***** and we were pleasantly surprised to enjoy some good hot sandwiches and remarkably good french fries (very hot, crunchy, good taste). If this were a review of food only, I would give it more stars, but the cleanliness, and overall experience was lacking.

Jesse's is the perfect place to grab a quick sandwich. Don't be put off by the slightly sketchy location - these are the best hot subs in town! A generous serving of meat, cheese, and condiments on a warm crusty roll. The burgers are far above average - try the mushroom burger - for a price that cannot be beat. All served with AMAZING fries.
