This is a review of the La Cabana Mexican restaurant in Rockingham North Carolina.For a couple years now taking motorcycle trips from the western part of Carolina to the eastern Carolina's This has always been one of our favorite stops as the food is always hot fresh large portion and consistent, places always clean and well kept and the wait staff is always beyond fantastic.After dozens of trips here we have yet to have a bad experience with either service or food. Mind you it may be crowded at peak times like 12:30 on a Saturday for lunch however that's to be expected and I do not blame the restaurant at all for this.Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area fair prices good portions and always hot tasteful food. ❤️???

Tried traveling to Myrtle beach, highly recommend! Great homemade food, fresh ingredients. Clean and cheery. Fabulous in house made Agua de Jamaica.

Food was ok.. I got the lunch special #4... my chili Poblano tasted like soap. Rice was dry and taco was plain, no Cleese or anything on it. Definitely not impressed today.

I love La’Cabana! The food is delicious. The employees are awesome. If you can’t eat hot peppers or don’t want a certain type food they will fix it the way you ask them too if they can. Not a time that I went that they couldn’t fix certain things the way I wanted. I couldn’t eat spicy food nor did I like guacamole. They were more than happy to not add those in my meal. The cheese dip came with jalapeños but since I couldn’t eat jalapeños they fixed me a special little bowl of the cheese sauce. I’d recommend this place to anybody. I haven’t been in years because I moved to Wilmington 4 years ago but on one of my visits to see family I’m going to make it a point of stopping by and eat lunch or dinner. I miss the place! #1SpanishRestaurant
It's an acceptable food option, I have only been there once and tried the Burrito Fundido, the tacos looked legitimate so will try them next time. The queso is ok. Their guacamole is awesome. I hope I didn't just get lucky and that it is that good every time. Will definitely order an extra side of quac next time. Worth checking out, I am Mexican born and raised in Southern California so my Mexican food standards are a bit high.
