Got here around 11:30 for an early lunch, and this place was already bustling. In addition to people coming in to eat, there were a lot of take out orders. The interior was nothing fancy, and the small dining room got quite noisy as it filled up, but the food and its reasonable prices will make me want to stop here again.

Very community centered diner, old school for sure. They make everything in house and the burger was top tier. Definitely get it with chili. Lot of southern hospitality the manager Jenny is very welcoming.

My family and I visited earlier today (07/17) on our way back to our home state and generally enjoyed the experience! It felt like a small town, community-focused diner and the food was pretty solid!
My only complaint is how the orders are made out for payment. Most of our party ordered sandwiches and burgers, and requested fries as well. It wasn't really specified that the main dishes didn't include a side (exception being the specials on the whiteboard, which come with two sides).
For myself, my wife, mother and father in law, and three children, it came to a bit over $80!
All in all, a bit on the expensive side, but I'd go back again if in the area again!

Delish bacon cheese burger lunch! Fresh salad bar, homemade croutons! Kept our thirst down with real southern sweet tea. Great service with a smile and genuine hospitality. Make sure you stop for lunch or dinner, homemade comfort food to make you very full and happy.

My son loves to find new places to eat whenever we are going out of town!! 1 Diner was NOT a disappointment!!! Probably the best burger I had ever eaten!!! My husband had the flounder plate and it was perfectly cooked as well. Just want to say the staff was just as awesome as the food. They made you feel like family. A great diner!! Definitely will go back!!!!

I had the pleasure of stopping in and enjoying some great down home cooking. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were great and everything tasted good. I had Stew beef and rice with turnips and Green Lima beans. I can't forget the hush puppies. Meals are served with a pitcher of perfectly made Sweet Tea and homemade cake. They made us feel at home. I even tried Yellow Squash Casserole for the first time and it was great. Whenever y'all come into this area please go and check them out. I don't think you will be disappointed ❤️

Stopped in on our way to Myrtle Beach. I love little diners, and this one didn't disappoint. Tasty, typical American diner fare. The homemade vegetable beef soup was delicious. Basic white bread grilled cheese with the soup made it wonderful comfort food.
Desserts of homemade Banana Pudding and Strawberry cake for fifty cents.
The atmosphere is old, country, dinner. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and the service was great.
Great breakfast and lunch place. Smaller, but cozy instead of cramped. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. I had the sausage dog and wedges for lunch. It was cooked perfectly, and they had good mustard on it. The wedges were crispy, and really flavorful. If you need a quick bite for breakfast or lunch, you would be hard pressed to find a better eatery then Number 1, I guess you could say they are aptly named 😁.
