....the worst Smithfield's I've ever visited. The BBQ is dry and leathery. Everything is awful....as is everything and everyone in Richmond County.

We were here from kentucky. We got the chicken and BBQ plate with beans, slaw and potato salad. It was all very delicious. The hushpuppies were amazing. Fast service and very friendly. Will probably be back before he head back home.

This place is totally overpriced! The chicken is small they must buy them half grown. You get 2 teaspoons of slaw and about 6 French fries on a plate. Way Way over priced for what it is and what you get. We were there at 12;30 prime lunch time and there were only 5 tables eating the entire time. And 2 drive thrus .what is going on with these restaurants?

Bridget was excellent! I came in late night on Monday and had to pick up an uber eats order and she was so patient and added courtesy sauces. Great conversation and energy! Can’t wait to come back as a regular customer!

Two Stars – Disappointing Visit to Smithfield’s Chicken in Rockingham

I went through the drive-thru, and the speaker system was clearly not working properly. The employee asked me to repeat my order, then told me to just drive around to the window because he still couldn’t hear me. That kind of defeats the purpose of a drive-thru.

I ordered the shrimp for $13.99, and let me tell you—it’s absolutely not worth that price. The portion was shockingly small, just a handful of tiny shrimp. Honestly, it felt more like a $5.99 item.

To make things worse, I had asked for tartar sauce and didn’t receive any in my bag. I had to drive back around, and the same issue happened again repeating myself at the speaker before being told to come to the window just to ask for tartar sauce.

The staff was friendly though.

The food was underwhelming, and the whole experience was frustrating. Definitely not what I expected for the price.

Great staff, always clean, very consistent food. And by consistent, I mean excellent. Their fried chicken and tenders are second to none, and the barbecue is great as well.

The only thing I have a problem with is the banana pudding. As far as banana pudding goes, it's horrible, they need to make it fresh with bananas instead of just pudding with vanilla wafers on top. That's just gross.

Service was fast and super friendly. BBQ pork plate a bit bland for my taste but I like pit fired smoked bbq better than whatever this is. Corn fritters were excellent.

Experienced terrible customer service during my latest visit. Walked in to manger cussing at employees and after ordering our food we were told it would be 15 minutes on chicken so after getting our order chicken was hot but our shrimp was COLD, shift manager was extremely rude and unapologetic. We will not be returning
