Neptunes Kitchen and Dive Bar

Sign says “Open from Thursday to Sunday 4-9”. Went on Saturday at 430pm and it was closed. Not the first time, I guess they just open when they feel like it. Definitely not a place where you can make plans to go to.

Hours NOT accurate. Sign shows... Wed to Sun 4 to 9, we went at 616pm- ish. Not open. To bad.

The food and service was great! There was some food people watching too! The Philly cheesesteak was delicious as was the brownie a la mode. Our waitress was super sweet!

Been coming to Rodanthe for 4 years now and this is the 1st time we came here. Kicking ourselves for not coming before. Excellent food, atmosphere, and service. It’s now a must do for us when on vacation here.

Good vibes & a great time! Me & my family went for karaoke night & it was a blast. Our only complaint was the owner of the bar. He was very rude to his employees getting in their faces & screaming at them. He also took a drink out of my cousin drink & thought it was the best thing ever. It was a very creepy situation. The owner was a huge issue not only to us but a lot of other customers. The bartenders & servers were great & it is sad how they got treated by the owner. Other than the owner the bar was great & loved karaoke night!

We had a great time having dinner on the back deck with our dog, Spencer. Megan was amazing and we enjoyed our cheese curds and chicken tender platter.

First time trying this place and it didn't disappoint. If you are looking for beauty inside...its like it says...a dive bar. But the food and drinks are pretty good, as well as the service. You won't be disappointed.

Just got done having dinner with our 4 kids (ages 4-10). Very kid friendly! Food was absolutely amazing!!! Gotta try the cheese curds with caramel! Oh and the Bavarian pretzel is the largest I have ever seen!

Hostess was incredibly rude … no greeting and told us they were not seating because they were on a wait. No one was waiting to be sat. They were still open for another hour. Shame to send so much business away.

I ordered a pound of crab legs for $40. They brought me two small clusters. I've ate crab legs many times in my life, I know the difference between a 1/2 and a pound. I asked the waitress if there was a mixup with the order and she said no that's what their pound is. The crab legs were overcooked, half of them were shriveled up when I cracked them open. The next night, I went to Good Winds down the road and ordered a pound. I received four very large clusters, perfectly cooked. Don't waste your money at Neptune's.
