The Shiny tiny walk up

First off, the owner is a sweetheart. Im a big fan of supporting local businesses whenever I travel and as far as attitude, she earned my money! The food was good too! My husband got the burger and said it was pretty standard. I got the spicy tuna sandwich and really enjoyed it. The wasabi sauce that comes with it is no joke! Overall it was a great experience and we would return.

This is my favorite food in the Outer Banks!! I have not found a crab cake this good even at the seafood specialty places! Her salads are wonderful, the fish of the day is exceptional - I like it spicy! If you’re driving through Waves NC or anywhere nearby it’s worth the drive!

Delicious spicy tuna sandwich

We enjoyed a vegan vegy burger, a crab cake sandwich and quinoa side salads. They were delicious!! Fresh ingredients. Earth friendly paper container and bamboo tableware. Less than 10 minute wait and super friendly service.

Amazing cutch sandwich! Spicy tuna, sautéed onions, bacon and cheese with a wasabi aioli on the side. Soooooo yummy!

The Cutch burger may be the best sandwich I have ever had in my life. The crab cake sandwich is 5 stars as well. Sides were great too!

We could have eaten there everyday!!! The food was that good and we are picky

Friendly owner/chef, food was fresh and delicious. My wife loves tuna and got the tuna steak sandwich. I like tuna fine but usually prefer a burger. Decided to get the “Cutch” which is the spicy version of the tuna sandwich. So glad I did! It was amazing. The cucumber wasabi sauce was the perfect complement to it. My wife isn’t really into spicy, but she enjoyed that, too! Stop by, you won’t regret it.

Had family recommend this place from a google search with places to try out on our honeymoon. Thought it was a taco stand and got there and it was burger and tuna burgers with a few sides. I got the spicy tuna burger and my wife got the cheeseburger. Got our food in about 10 mins. My spicy tuna burger was one of the best I ever had. I tried my wife’s burger and it was hands down the best cheeseburger I’ve ever had. (I usually hate cheeseburgers). The food was so good I left an extra tip in the jar, after the fact.
Tried the walk up again a few days later and my wife got another burger, I got the regular tuna burger and wanted to try the Cutch burger (spicy tuna with caramlized onions, bacon and Swiss cheese). Again. Best tuna burgers I’ve ever had and my wife’s burger was still amazing. Went back again a few days before we left and we both got cheeseburgers. Spoke with the owner, extremely nice and friendly lady. By far THE BEST FOOD we had on our trip. Worth a drive from any part in the outer banks!

Tuna burger was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Simple, yet delicious due to the freshness of the tuna and toppings. This unassuming little walk up was incredible. Definitely recommend!

Very good food. I got the BLT. It has a thick cut fresh tomato and the bacon was perfectly cooked. Lin, the person working the counter was very nice. Highly recommended
