The coffee and the people are great. I hate they stopped preparing hot food but I get it. They still carry scrumptious pastries from StrongArm but need a way to warm them up.

I've had coffee in East Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Western Africa, Latin America, the Post-Soviet Bloc, and the US. The coffee here competes with anywhere I've been. Black & White isn't one of those places with walls full of shelves of coffee varieties, but the range of delicious flavors is great. On top of the variety of excellent coffees, the barista was not only pleasant and hospitable; she knew her stuff, communicated well, and was generally helpful. Not because Rolesville shouldn't have good coffee but because one wouldn't assume that such a small place--in the US South, no less--would necessarily be home to fine cuisine, it was very surprising to me that my experience there was so impressive. As far as I can tell, Black & White has the best coffee in the Triangle area, and I look forward to going back there as many times as I can.

This place has gone down hill. First they removed cafe food items and now have removed drip decaf coffee. The new folks have no clue. This place used to be great but with the new changes we won’t be back.
Friendly staff, great coffee, good seating for size of shop. Removed sandwiches from their menu recently, but they have typical baked goods that are tasty.

I love Black and White as a coffee place in general but the Rolesville location is my favorite. Calm and low key atmosphere. Plus there is never a super long line. And the breakfast options are top notch!

They are always creative and everything they release is golden!Clean bathrooms, friendly staff, plenty of seating inside and outside.It's quiet enough to take a video call meeting for work, but not so quiet that you feel awkward doing it. This is not only the best coffee shop in Rolesville, but the best in the entire triangle in my opinion! Each and every employee could teach a master class on customer service. They’re extremely nice, very helpful, and always go the extra mile for you. Also, they easily have the best iced oat milk latte! I’d recommend this place to anyone!
